Somewhere on Prio Island - a forgotten former forepost has become a secret meeting point ...

Captain Cookie: So, Minheer Vandermeulen, I understand you want to win the Pilot Association's race?

Jacobus Vandermeulen: That is correct, my dear Captain.

Cookie: And I have helped to fund your new ship, the Neushoorn.

Jacobus: Yes, that was very kind.

[PA CUP - Cat A. ] Forgotten Forepost 2

Jacobus: The question remains: What do you want from me in return?

Cookie:  Someday, and that day may never come, I will call upon you to do a service for me.

But until that day, accept the ship as a gift to win the race.

 How are the others doing?

Jacobus (putting down the spyglass): Some are amazingly fast, like this Callaghan guy.

But I have a good chance to win!

Cookie: Good luck, mate.

[@Professor Thaum: Thanks for the inspiration!]

Wow, striking colorscheme... I like it, although an entire structure in those colors might be a bit much! Good job getting the different angles to match up reasonably well, too. And good luck in the challenge.

It is actually not that colourful in real life ...:pir-grin:

I tried a new building approach ... And it might have failed

Aaaah, my eyes hurt of all this glowing red!!! Hahahahaha!

Dark red would have been better, but I don't have the slopes in dark red.

Good build! I like the color scheme on it, and I like that it is set at an angle on the base. And it's a good attempt with the sloped wall technique. It doesn't match the corners perfectly, but the effect works. I've used the same technique, and it's easier to get the angles to match if you have taller walls.

Thanks, this is actually a "pilot build" and I would like to do some sort of fortress :pir-grin:

This building technique is really interesting so you can put it in good use for a full fortress (eagerly awaiting that is). But it's that striking red that somehow doesn't do the trick for me *huh*

Cool little bastion, and good story. I like the angles you have achieved and would love to see you work it on a bigger scale.

But the bright blue is ok?     Ok, you probably want me to go for a black& white MOC :pir-grin:

Thanks - a larger version is likely to have different colours (Eslandolean green?)...

Red as in color red, not Corrie-red
