Corellian Corvette Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 Hello all! Thanks to some help on this forum I solved a building problem with a model, which required replacing 30360 Engine with a 93168 Engine which includes a cross-axle in the center of the pins. The images on Bricklink however only show one end - the deeper end - as having the cross axle pins. However, i need to know if the shallow female end also has the cross axle? I need to build my model differently depending on where the cross axle is. Can anyone shoot a picture (or at least confirm) that both ends have the cross-axle mold in the center? Thanks! Quote
TeriXeri Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 (edited) I found that I have this part 93168 (in black) in a Nexo Knights set (70357), and tried both to fit both sides of the part with a technic axle. Attaching 2x2 round bricks and an axle I measured the depth : Studded side has ~5 mm of depth. Even with the added cross axles, it's too large of a hole to hold a Technic axle. Anti-Stud side has ~14mm depth. No cross axles. So both sides will not hold an axle on it's own, it just prevents an axle from rotating. Edited April 29, 2019 by TeriXeri Quote
