Hello everyone, this is a lego techno union ship from Star Wars Episode 2 battle of Geonosis. I've been working on a whole MOC for the battle of Geonosis for about a year now. Here is the Techno Union ship part!! I would like to give proper credit to Gerechtigkeitsliga for his inspirational design. The bottom 3rd is based off his design, while I did re-engineer it, I also made changes and modifications to try and make it a bit more unique. This is his link to his original techno union ship:

Current stats for my version of this lego model

Piece count: about 14,000
Height: 34.5 inches
Time to build: 2 and 1/2 months.

This while 99% complete is still is a work in progress, if you have any suggestions of what to improve feel free to comment. I'd love to hear some expert opinions and ideas, thanks everyone!!

Wow, awesome job I’ve always wanted to see one of these completed to a high standard in Lego, I love the detailing! Great job with the overall shape, it must have been very difficult to achieve the roundness of the top part, looks like you have used a rather unique technique to do so!

That looks stunning! The way that you built the top is very interesting! What a great first post too. Welcome to Eurobricks!

You did a great job with the egg-shaped dome. I wonder how it looks inside. Can the feets hold the construction on their own? Cause it is difficult to see the bottom. Anyways stunning MOC!

In this image, it shows the basic shape inside, and no the feet can NOT hold up the entire weight. I had to use 3 pillars (Which I think is also landing gear since they are there in blueprints) and translucent bricks to help hold it up. This thing weighs about 35 to 40 pounds, and is just to much weight for the 3 feet. Hope this answers your curiosity and question, thanks!!

Looks incredible, I always feel like Lego doesn't give the Separatists much love with how little we get of their large vehicles and ships. I do really love that 4481 Hailfire Droid model though, much better than the other versions.

Are we going to see the core ship model next?
