Browsing through eBay (as I do from time to time) I stumbled across an auction for this...

(Yeah I know the pictures are too small)

Link to Auction

Has anyone seen this before or own it? Or know of where larger pictures can be found? Or if its compatible with LEGO? I think it looks pretty good from those small pictures...

That makes perfect sense!

This set appears to be ahead of its time as LEGO obviously didn't dabble with the Castle theme till the late 70's. It looks quite impressive actually.

My camera is not the best but hopefully these will do. Although the bricks look grey in the pictures, they actually have a beige and white swirl through them. Comparing to the cover of the instruction booklet there appears to be two turrets missing. There are heaps and heaps of bricks all sizes and shapes.

I recognise those big rounded studs! This is the EXIN CASTILLOS, from Spain! It is a classic toy in our country but the company ceased to exist long ago, so for the sake of nostalgia I think these must have a steep price in Ebay...

Take a look at this google search.

I hated those castles, by the way, I have to clarify *glasses* .

Let's say Santa brings you this castle instead of the coolest Lego Pirate set or wathever you fancied that year... as a child, you just can't look at the bright side! *sing*
