Hi everyone!

This is my first MOC post, and second post to Eurobricks after my welcome post.

I was inspired to make this train from an image on Google of  a  "CRRC Dalian CKD7B" Chinese locomotive. Apparently these were designed specifically for use in Myanmar, and are very difficult to find any photos of them in the wild!

As said in the title, this was inspired by the locomotive- the proportions are a little off! I'm glad with how it came out.

Glad to hear thoughts and comments!

Wow, nice model ...I like the blue train base and the two 9,0 Volts motors!

Thanks, @LEGO Train 12 Volts! The two motors actually seem to run at different speeds, however on my shelf having the two does look neat!

Nice work. The angled windows work really well here.

And considering the proportions: That is always tricky with "scale" modelling. Maybe you could make it a bit longer, but then again, you can also spend the time on making your next MOC. I have a train which is too long compared to its width… There will always be room for improvement.

When I first looked at the prototype This part: 6567c01.png

Originally came to mind snotted upside down.  However looking at your windows...  I think they are "in scale" to your model although not a proper scaled sized.   The train looks good standing on its own...  If it really bothers you then lengthen the train.   Great work
