Good parts packs

Hi all

I had a mini dark ages last sets i bought where 42043 and 42053 And is like to buy a couple of sets. 

Id really like to have 42083

But i know i could have a few other sets for the same $ like 42081 for the tractor tires coz i don't have them. What should i do..... buy the Bugatti or use the cash for other dona sets

I'd argue that you should buy a 42082 and save the rest of the money for something else. 42082 seems to be the best part pack out there and can benefit your inventory or your shelf since it is also a great model (I don't have one, but if I did, I'd keep it on display for a few months before using it elsewhere).

Fully agree with @BrickbyBrickTechnic. Also, if you can still find it from a non-scalper, 42055 is another outstanding parts pack.

I have few sets already just looking at get some new'er ie parts in sets i here missed since 2015 ie 3 axle with stop 5 with stop.

If you need tractor tires + lot of parts I suggest 42054 because it has almost 2000 parts and is slightly more expensive than 42081...

Sadly 42054 is out of stock everywhere here in south Africa  I'd have to ship one in from the eu........... might just land up doing that

42070 gets you tractor wheels plus some motors and an IR controller, plus 3L axles with stops and (I think) 5L axles with stops. 42055 I think is good value - nearly 4000 peices including some 3L and 5L axles both with stops, plus loads of 5x7 frames, long lift arms and z18 gears (with pin hole and with cross axle hole) plus 4 3L changeover catches

And shipping is not cheap...then 42081 is your best choice

I could also hold off and see what tiers 42099 (off road vehicle) comes with will only have to wait a few months

Not too bothered about the price coz not spent a cent on any technic sets in a few years  plus it will have new motors and app so sure it will be worth the wait.  Side note i didn't see that blurry picture......... I'll have to do a search

After a bit of deliberation I have bought a 42082 rough terrain crane

And it will add 603 new parts to my collection ??

Let's keep fingers crossed; I have 3 of them and now I'm searching what equipment I can represent with them in 1:15 scale (among my Fastrac 4220)
