Governor Mister Phes Posted April 14, 2008 Governor Posted April 14, 2008 That's quite an amusing history lesson! What gave you the inspiration for this? Are you originally from Britain, Alexandertam? Quote
alexandertam Posted April 14, 2008 Author Posted April 14, 2008 That's quite an amusing history lesson! What gave you the inspiration for this? Are you originally from Britain, Alexandertam? I aren't originally from Britain, I am a Chinese who come to England to study on board. Quote
Joey Lock Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 I aren't originally from Britain, I am a Chinese who come to England to study on board. Sorry I just like correcting people "I am not Originally" Got any Corrections TinyPies? Huh? Quote
SlyOwl Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 Hehe! Some of the shots are a little blurry/out of focus in places though... I aren't originally from Britain, I am a Chinese who come to England to study on board. Sorry I just like correcting people "I am not Originally" Got any Corrections TinyPies? Huh? I do! The whole thing should read: I am not originally from Britain, but I am Chinese and came to England to study (on board? ) Take that, TinyPies! Quote

"On board" is supposed to be "abroad" (at least that would seem to be the most logical solution). And yes, there are probably some comments on my grammar/spelling as well, I know I'm far from perfect . But just like alexandertam I have the excuse of not being English/American/Australian Anyways, nice comic, are you planning on making more? iamded Posted April 15, 2008 Posted April 15, 2008 Sorry I just like correcting people"I am not Originally" Got any Corrections TinyPies? Huh? Well actually, that shouldn't be a capitol 'o'. This is a neat and funny comic you got here, alexandertam! Great job! ~Peace Quote
Joey Lock Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 Well actually, that shouldn't be a capitol 'o'. This is a neat and funny comic you got here, alexandertam! Great job! ~Peace It shouldnt be a Capitol, its Capital. A Capitol is a statehouse in the USA! (At least that is what it said in the dictionary) Joey Quote

(At least that is what it said in the dictionary) If you're so clever, then you should know that "admin" takes the indefinite article "an", not "a". This applies to all words beginning with a vowel, apart from where it makes the sound "yoo", for example "a unicorn". This also applies to words that begin with a constonant, but have a vowel sound, for example "an hour". Quote
