White Knight Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 (click on pic for a better view!) It's a great picture, just make it larger, and you can read what it says. Every single part of the ship is labeled. It's from this article on warships. Edit by Phred: Added pic to link. Quote

Governor Mister Phes Posted April 11, 2008 Governor Posted April 11, 2008 Wait, unless this picture is meant to help Lego ship builders by showing a typical warship, so builders can get ideas as to where everything on a ship should go, such as the kitchen or sleeping area. Therefore making more accruatish Lego warships . Pictures like this can be a useful reference for MOCers who are attempting to build some historical accuracy into their ships. We do in fact have a Wikipedia Index on Classic-Pirates.com but I haven't had time to add links to it. There also a similar index thread on the forum maintained by Phred. Quote
Capn Frank Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 This is a very fine picture indeed with many great details. *y* Too bad there isn't more info about this particular ship. We do in fact have a Wikipedia Index on Classic-Pirates.com but I haven't had time to add links to it. There also a similar index thread on the forum maintained by Phred. Which index is that? P Quote
White Knight Posted April 12, 2008 Author Posted April 12, 2008 Hmm, I didn't realize I could post the pic in the topic. I wasn't sure the image size limit, so I posted a link. Thanks for the edit. Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted April 12, 2008 Governor Posted April 12, 2008 Which index is that? It's actually called the Wikipedia Links Library so if ever you encounter a useful Wikipedia then add it to the library. Hmm, I didn't realize I could post the pic in the topic. I wasn't sure the image size limit, so I posted a link. Thanks for the edit. The recommended size is 800x600 because that will fit snuggly on resolutions as low as 1024 x 768, but the forum itself will resize images automatically to fit. It only does the resizing after they're fully loaded however. Quote
Captain Green Hair Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 This is a great picture indeed, all the part names being in there is wonderfull! Thanks for sharing! Quote
metalandi Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 wow, that looks really great. i wonder if anyone's gonna do a moc of that MASSIVE cannon power on that one! Quote
Captain Zuloo Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 Thats a good picture, but Eurobricks is a Lego Forum, so it doesn't belong here. Maybe in another subforum, as this picture doesn't realy have anyhting to do with Lego Pirates. I beg to differ. I'm glad you corrected yourself, as that picture will help many MOCers who didn't look at wikipedia so they didn't have to read through the article. Not that I'm that lazy. Regards, Captain Zuloo Quote
