Bregir Posted October 21, 2018 Posted October 21, 2018 In King's Harbour, word has been going around about Olean and Eslandian expeditions to Terraversa, and many are asking if not Corrington should follow suit. Some claim to have heard a "Mr. Barlow" in a tavern somewhere bragging about being in charge of such an expedition. While this may not be true, there is some truth to a diplomatic mission underway, and in preparation, the official yacht, the Amiable is undergoing trials in the bay. More elaborately decorated than most Corlander vessels, this ketch-rigged pleasure yacht houses a large cabin aft to convey any dignitary in style and comfort. However, it is no warship and must rely on escorts and speed to avoid any enemies, as it is entirely unarmed. _________________________________________________________________________ And unarmed pleasure yacht build for an upcoming mission for Corrington. I believe she is a class 4, being slightly longer, but of a slighter build than the Ironsides. C&C welcome. Quote
Roadmonkeytj Posted October 21, 2018 Posted October 21, 2018 Quite a nice little bucket you got yourself there! The right amount of gold to be privately owned! Love the cabin door! Quote
Legostone Posted October 21, 2018 Posted October 21, 2018 No, thats not nearly enough gold, a ship like that needs to be heavy enough to just barely not sink because of all the gold on it Quote

Kwatchi Posted October 22, 2018 Posted October 22, 2018 While I find the shape of the bow a bit odd, the rest of the ship is very well executed. Nice job! Quote

And the ketch rig was fun to try. 20 hours ago, Legostone said: No, thats not nearly enough gold, a ship like that needs to be heavy enough to just barely not sink because of all the gold on it I think I will just let Roadmonkey's answer to this stand ;) 17 hours ago, Kwatchi said: While I find the shape of the bow a bit odd, the rest of the ship is very well executed. Nice job! Yes, I agree, the bow isn't exactly the most elegant. And thanks :) Quote
Bodi Posted October 23, 2018 Posted October 23, 2018 That's a nice ship, her lines look quite modern to me, and I like the long cabin, it should have enough space to accomodate the whole crew. Quote
LM71Blackbird Posted October 23, 2018 Posted October 23, 2018 A nice looking ship you've got there! I like all the gold! Quote
Professor Thaum Posted October 24, 2018 Posted October 24, 2018 Nice ship. I like the concept of yachting amiable I will have a interested look as soon as it will be sailed (maybe some golden coins on the sails ? ) Quote
