[EV3] Slot Machine

A Russian roulette style slot machine. Match three colours to win. Play by yourself or with friends.

I made this for the local LEGO Discovery Centre's Adult Night's casino theme night.  Originally, it was running on the NXT with limited function.  The NXT didn't have the modulus function in the math block.  I needed it to calculate where the colors are.  I wasn't looking forward to writing my own modulo function then I got lucky and won an EV3 at a silent charity auction.  Lo and behold, EV3 math block has a modulo function.  I am saved! 

We also planned to build a working roulette table for the event but that fell through.  So I added a "roulette" feature to my MOC.

Really nice and funny MOC.  I think it could be improved if there was a 'spin' lever, and a 'stop' one, possibly the same lever doing two things.  I, at least, prefer it that way.  It would also be good if the wheels stopped in an order from left to right - this would make more sense and IMO would make it even better.  Apart from that though, great MOC and looking forward to seeing your next one(s)!

that slot feels less like game, more like mirror – spin is random but ppl still see patterns, hope in colors. russian roulette vibe makes it heavy, like every pull is mix of thrill n quiet fear. winning’s simple, but meaning sits deeper – why we chase 3 colors when life already gambling.
