Mr. Lego-builder Posted June 19, 2005 Posted June 19, 2005 AHH! THEY ARE UPON US!! :oo :P But seriously, guys, it is Brickshelf...that means that even Megabloks fans can put up pictures there, because it fits into the category of plastic building bricks. But on the other hand... *devil*
snefroe Posted June 19, 2005 Posted June 19, 2005 AHH! THEY ARE UPON US!! :oo :P But seriously, guys, it is Brickshelf...that means that even Megabloks fans can put up pictures there, because it fits into the category of plastic building bricks. But on the other hand... *devil* isn't there a lego-requirement on brickshelf? i also believe there's a backing system that controls posts before they're allowed on brickshelf. so if only lego is allowed, it should have dismissed this... however, selling megablocks or whatever for lego is becoming a new trend, so it seems... ebay tried to sell the mageblock firetruck for lego a while back... i'm afraid non-informed people will fall for this...
Mr. Lego-builder Posted June 19, 2005 Posted June 19, 2005 Following up on snefroe's post, he is right! The TOS (tersm of service) says that: You agree that the content you upload to your Brickshelf.com Gallery folder will be related to LEGO
Hobbes Posted June 19, 2005 Posted June 19, 2005 The folder "above" it says "Vergleich" which is german and means "comparison". He probably wanted to show how boring MegaBloks is compared to LEGO. So I guess it's OK in this case...
vcvc Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 there is other products related to lego. there is Best Lock, and BTR (built to rule). and they all look the same.
Mr. Lego-builder Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 Vcvc, you are thinking of "similar" to LEGO. "Related to" means that it has to be produced by, licensed by, approved by, and/or announced by LEGO, or is LEGO itself.

Hobbes Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 I know germanHindenburg ach saurcrautte(sp?) Close enough, it's "Sauerkraut" ;)
vcvc Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 sorry. But it's true they have those little bumps like lego bricks have
Mr. Lego-builder Posted June 21, 2005 Posted June 21, 2005 Yes. I know. They look exactly the same, and therefore LEGO has much controversy over these companies. (I hate those imitators.) *devil*
vcvc Posted June 21, 2005 Posted June 21, 2005 L0 i am going to hang the people who imatated /|\ Lego *devil* / \
xwingyoda Posted June 24, 2005 Posted June 24, 2005 L0 i am going to hang the people who imatated /|\ Lego *devil* / \ and what about the people who steal ????
Governor Mister Phes Posted June 25, 2005 Governor Posted June 25, 2005 The Evil MegaBloks Empire continues to expand now begins to quash established LEGO domains...
xwingyoda Posted June 25, 2005 Posted June 25, 2005 Lego shall come out of the ashes of competition like the phoenix, rise and conquer the building toy market throughout the world >-|
Mr. Lego-builder Posted June 25, 2005 Posted June 25, 2005 I believe that LEGO is doing fine right now. There has been much improvement since the beginning of 2005.
President of Brick Town Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 WTF! How can they do this, anyway if the person is comparing It to the real deal then it's ok.
Big Cam Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 WTF! How can they do this, anyway if the person is comparing It to the real deal then it's ok. This post along with the recent other thread you bumped is from over 6 years ago. Please stop bumping old topics that have long ago died off.
