ParmBrick Posted August 24, 2018 Posted August 24, 2018 This Orbital Laser Strike Satellite, belongs to APOPHIS constellation. This military satellite constellation makes use of special secret-satellite-super-weapons to annihilate objective on Earth: bunker, shelters, hangars, vehicles, buildings, aircrafts, ships, cruise missiles, ICBMs. Operate surgical and sensitive operations. This satellite carry a powerful laser system that can identify and neutralize the threat in a few seconds. To accomplish his task the laser hit the target with a train of brief pulses of light. The rapid evaporation and expansion of the surface causes shockwaves that damage and destroy the target. This satellite use a chemically powered gas dynamic laser, with compresion of the gas generated and powered by 4 photovoltaic panel. Are those solar panels from the 2003 Discovery line? I am curious Quote
ParmBrick Posted September 17, 2018 Author Posted September 17, 2018 Thank You! Yes they come from that line! I disassemble the Hubble Space Telescope to recover spare parts and pieces for this satellite. Quote
