gylman Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 Have a look at Jake's site http://www.bricksonthebrain.com/blog/ I previously predicted the the lego instruction scans will go to Legofan.org. Sticking with that. Any other predictions?? Gyl notice the interesting information that TLC actually financially supported brickshelf! Was that widely known? Also, what do you thing the "coolest lego product ever" is? I am hoping it is Mindstorms 3.0 p.s.... still looking for an avatar Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted June 17, 2005 Governor Posted June 17, 2005 Quick everyone! Rush HERE and download all the instuctions and catalog scans you don't have before they disappear from here too. Quote
Mr. Lego-builder Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 Nah...this site is going along quite nicely. Besides, I don't think that the site is in any financial trouble, because it says that he doesn't want any money for the site. However, he does request that we send him any scans that we have of official LEGO models. See this quote on his FAQ page: I like this site, can I sponsor it?This is a fan-created website. I don't want any money for this site. If you want to help me, please upload some instructions I don't have. Quote
Mr. Lego-builder Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 8-| Just wondering, Mr. Phes, if we do follow your advice, then how exactly do we download something like this? Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted June 17, 2005 Governor Posted June 17, 2005 Find the instructions/catalog pages you want to download, right click on them find the "Save Image" option in the context menu that appears. If you've got one of those obtuse Mac mouses, you'll have to hold down CTRL while you're clicking on the image. Quote
Mr. Lego-builder Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 Oh...that's what you meant. I was thinking of something else...nevermind. ;) And no, I don't have a (one-buttoned) Macintosh mouse. They look nice though. :D Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted June 17, 2005 Governor Posted June 17, 2005 I prefer my 5 buttoned optical mouse with scroll wheel opposed to those hideous circular Mac mice. The more conventional style with the top of the mouse as one large button aren't much better either. Quote

snefroe Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 just a question. who are these Lego affliates jake is talking about? Quote
Apocalypse Posted June 18, 2005 Posted June 18, 2005 I am probably a bit late with this news but... The instructions will soon be up at Peeron! Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted June 18, 2005 Governor Posted June 18, 2005 First I've heard of it! Don't be affraid to share old news. I do it all the time. Everyone can be greatful that I take the effort to remind them of such things. But I've heard no complaints. So I shall say no more. Quote
gylman Posted June 18, 2005 Author Posted June 18, 2005 Oh well, Peeron not Legofan. I wuz wrong. :$ Just as well though - peeron certainly has a better pedigree. Gyl(still searching for an avatar)man Quote
