Testing used EV3

Hello everybody!

I've managed to find in Russia used EV3 for about $100. Upon receiving I'll have 15 minutes to test it and decide whether I want to buy it.

My question is how can I effectively test electronic parts without a computer?

Hook up all the motors and sensors.  On the EV3 menu screen, you can select the 3rd tab for the Bricks apps which has programs for the motor control and sensor readings.  From there you can control lthe motors and show what valves the sensors are reading.
