AmperZand Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 (edited) The LEGO Brick Road tour of UK stores and shopping centres was scheduled to start yesterday (24 March 2008). Does anyone know where and when it'll be stopping? If so, can you please post details? Any info on what the tour includes would also be appreciated. Edited March 25, 2008 by AmperZand Quote

Does anyone know where and when it'll be stopping? If so, can you please post details? Hang on, it's started? I wonder why we've not heard anything. At all. Actually, if you look here there's this little snippet: Visit the Follow the LEGO Brick Road van tour where you can get your hands on some bricks! The date of the weekend is listed as 3-5 May. So if this is the tour, then Legoland is either the last port of call or the first. I'm willing to guess it's the first, which would mean the tour hasn't started (likely). Hmm... Quote

From Easter onwards, there will be a Lego Brick Road tour around the UK, and a special commemorative pack will be available for collectors. (my emphasis). Quoted from Breaking News. As Breaking News were not the only ones to be reporting that date, it seems likely the source was a press release put out by TLC or TLC UK. Of course, the tour date could have changed since that news was disseminated. But a promotional tour starting in late March and ending in early May doesn't seem abnormally short. That would give them five weekends to hit the major shopping centres before ending the tour in Windsor. Quote

A quick check of the main shopping centre's events calendars doesn't seem to throw anything up either. Quote
