MKJoshA Posted June 5 Posted June 5 3 hours ago, The Stad said: I was trying to go back and review the community build challenges, like Age of Mitgardia, as well as the recaps from the past books, and none of the pages were opening. Has anyone else had that problem, or am I the only one that revisits Historica’s bygone days to get my nostalgia fix? Nope, not just you. Something's broken there. I've given it to our glitch expert and hopefully he'll have it fixed soon. Quote
The Stad Posted June 5 Posted June 5 I did go back, page by page, and found the actual conversation threads. They still exist and can be opened directly from the forum page, it’s just that none of the old hyperlinks seem to work anymore. Quote
Grover Posted June 24 Posted June 24 After some experimentation, you have to remove: applications/core/interface/file/index.php?file=/index.php?/ from between the forum/ and forums/ directories in the link. Apparently the php has been replaced by a direct link. So, an old link that looks like this: https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/applications/core/interface/file/index.php?file=/index.php?/forums/topic/173390-book-iii-challenge-iv-the-turning-point/ Should be edited to read: https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/forums/topic/173390-book-iii-challenge-iv-the-turning-point/ and then it should work. I'm going to start updating links, trying to hit the most relevant stuff first. Quote
aFrInaTi0n Posted June 24 Posted June 24 Thanks Grover - have seen the same pattern & my solution (not yet started with, I have to ask for excusing me for this) would be something similar. But I created the issue with applying a DB-wide fixture for emojis & images not showing up. As I had a good feeling about my fix not doing "more harm than damage" and the reality looking other ways (links bein broken) - I just need to give myself more time and possible another pair of not my eyes for QA... Grover Posted June 25 Posted June 25 If you get a site-wide fix or script going, please let me know. Otherwise, I will continue slowly fixing links here in the Guilds. Thanks! Quote
Seagull King of Vaughan Posted August 25 Posted August 25 I got most of the way through my Book IV Prelude builds before realizing I had not posted my sigfig. Happy to finally be a part of Mitgardia and Historica! Oscar Vanderlynn Titles and Profession: knight lord of Thanesford Short bio: Oscar grew up as the heir to a minor castle in southern Mitgardia; he was a squire when Victor Revolword’s elemental attacks came. In the wars afterward, he enlisted as a loyal soldier of Mitgardia to defend his home. Following the return of peace, Oscar became the ruler of Thanesford as the closest living relative of the extinct Eyren family, the previous lords. He wishes to increase the prosperity and prestige of Thanesford, and is engaged in civil works such as repairing the bridge over the river and restoring the walls of the town. Hometown: Thanesford (on the Mitgardia map, where the ‘t’ of Antler is located) Parts: Hair, Head, Torso, Legs, Cape (hopefully all the links worked, I’ve never done this before) Quote
Simon_S Posted August 26 Posted August 26 Welcome to Mitgardia! Let's make this the best guild (again, as in the first three books )! Quote
