MAB Posted June 26, 2018 Posted June 26, 2018 Concerning the quality, they are fine. Similar to genuine LEGO and to brickforge and brickwarriors. The downside for me is that they only do modern/sci-fi and not historical so I tend to favour the other two brands. Quote

The pointy rapiers of my musketeers and others below are Brickarms (the rest are LEGO). So is the dadao of the bley and dark blue assassin in the picture at the bottom. I don't know if they stopped producing historicals. They're harder to find than they used to be. Quote

Sorry, what do you mean by historical? They do make muskets and an assortment of blades, which are for sale at various retailers. Because I know Brickmania carries them, both on the website and in their stores. Quote

Brickmania doesn't ship small orders to the UK. It's possible that the dearth of Brickarms' historicals is a European problem and not to do with their (lack of) production. Quote

I was going off their website. Going to Historical > Weapons brings up five items for me. Three pistols, a rifle and a baseball bat. I'm more into medieval / ancient history, which is why brickforge and brickwarriors get my money! I like my customs to come from as few a places as possible, so they have a consistent look / design. Hence I tend to prefer customs where they do a number of designs of similar weapons / accessories of the right period. I did just take a look at brickmania. The only thing I saw that looked vaguely historical to me was the claymore. And LEGO already do a decent longsword, so I wouldn't need a custom there anyway. Quote
