Joey Lock Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 I was just looking on the Korean website (Tryed to translate, couldnt) Anywho look at this! Click Pretty good for a clone brand. Why cant lego make awesome bikes like that, huh? :-P Quote
Lord Of Pies Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Well it is unique, I will give it that. Not sure of the bike however! :-D Quote
Hinckley Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Since this isn't LEGO, I'll move it to community... Quote
Cardinal Brick Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Looks rather like a Battlestar Galctic finds earth bike to me 1980 style. Quote
Darth_Legois Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 I've been to korea 1 time before and bought some oxford army sets.....they were o.k. i guess.....this looks WAAAYYY diffrent to the police sets i saw when i went there last time (2001 X-D ) My fav piece from oxford is the "Bullet Proof" vest (not the same ones in that picture) you will see it in my "Check Point" moc (from IJ motorcycle chase) which i will post later today :-) Quote
JINZONINGEN73 Posted March 13, 2008 Posted March 13, 2008 Looks rather like a Battlestar Galctic finds earth bike to me 1980 style. Ahahaha, those cycles with the cheesy bluescreen behind them bring back memories lol! Mind you, those memories are all bad, but... Quote
Vader Posted March 13, 2008 Posted March 13, 2008 The bikes ok but the rest of the set pretty much sucks IMO, if lego released some bikes like that i'm sure they would sell well. Quote
trooperdavinfelth Posted March 13, 2008 Posted March 13, 2008 (edited) The bike, as Vader said, is OK. Just OK. Although the guns look like crap. The one that yellow guy(what's up with his shirt?) is holding looks like a disruptor rifle I saw in Knights of the Old Republic 2, but in this. Stay where you belong, twenty-thousand years ago! :-P Edited March 13, 2008 by trooperdavinfelth Quote

Eilif Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 Oxford makes some really looking sets in their ancient Korea, castle'esque, adventure'esque, and train lines. Unfortunately, you can't get them in the states. It's a shame because they look like really well designed sets and they aren't pirated sets like "enlighten". Ironically alot of Oxford sets have been pirated by the Sluban company and have showed up in the US on Ebay and also under Best-Lock and Just-Kids names. None of the really cool sets though... Quote
iamded Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 (edited) Where have I seen these before? I'm sure a member of EB here did a review of one of the Castle sets, or maybe that was Enlighten. Apparently it was really good quality, just as good as Lego. :-/ ~Peace Edited March 20, 2008 by iamded Quote
Eilif Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 Where have I seen these before? A bunch of images of oxford sets popped up at brickfilms a while back. If you find any reviews let me know. I've only seen brief comments by folks who have had Oxford product, but those comments seem, as you said, to suggest a very high quality. You can see the whole Oxford line here: http://www.oxfordtoy.co.kr/eng/product/sma...s.asp?category= Quote
Zarkan Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 Bleah, I've seen clone toys a lot better than this. Those bikes would be great in a sci fi theme, but in a police theme they really don't jibe with me. *n* Funny though, this kit seems to really reflect the socialistic way of thinking down in those parts. It reminds me more of a military enforcement HQ then a regular police station. Maybe it's just me, but I dunno. 8-| Quote
