SMILE!... You're On A Lego Convention Video

Hello everyone,

Out of curiosity, I'm wondering how difficult is it to make a video of each 'major' Lego Convention that happens around the world each year? The video could run for as short as 30 minutes or as long as an hour and a half. Why am I asking? So that those of us who couldn't attend can be able to see/watch the event besides looking at all the pictures posted (which is very helpful and informative by the way).

That's a great idea. I'm one of those people who can never get to the Lego Conventions, and it would be really nice to see what's happening at one of them. Sure, there are always still pictures, but it's just not the same.

I would love that. I love seeing the pictures but I am in Texas and dont know that we have any Lego Conventions around here. So getting to be a part would be AWESOME. I love seeing all the stuff others have done.

Someone has approached me about making a video about AFOLs which would include a lot of videotaping of the BrickFair Lego festival coming up this summer. It sounded like, from what he described his vision, it would be a lot like what you are asking. We shall see what he ends up doing. I think it could be really cool. I would love for BrickFair to be that video you are seeking.

Although, admittedly, I'm not sure a video could even being to capture it. Like the after-hours dinners, drinking, etc. Some stuff you just have to be there for to appreciate.
