Hinckley Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Oh wow. Please resize your pics. Here's a tutorial on how... Thanks. Quote
iamded Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Very cool! I do love a good post Apoc. MOC, and this is very nice. I like how you've used the lances on the truck, and the trailer is nifty too. *y* I look forward to seeing more from you! ~Peace Quote
ExoBuilder Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 That is very impressive! I'm trying to make a post apoc truck but I can't seem to get it. You sure made it awesomely. I love the lances also, I might use that sometime *y* One thing I don't like is the figs, don't look very post apocy to me 8-| *y* *sweet* Quote
Hinckley Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Thanks for resizing those pics. *sweet* *y* This is a great truck. I like it a lot. I would like to see some other windshield options and maybe a little more armor. Other than that, I really think you captured the post-apoc feel with the mismatched parts. It makes it look like the truck is just barely being held together, made from parts of several surviving trucks. *y* While I agree with exo-builder that these don't look like figs we've seen in post-apoc before, I don't think they need to. Post-apoc is an original theme and I think the figs are open to interpretation. I like the figs for the same reason I like the truck, they look patched together. Nice work! -especially considering it's your first work after your Dark Ages. Welcome back! *sweet* Quote
WarnIcarus Posted March 10, 2008 Author Posted March 10, 2008 The minifig that did not look cohesive with the MOC was the driver (white sleeves). I Redesigned him to create a "sicker dude". You can see him to the left of this shot: Quote
zero1312 Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Nice work!! *sweet* Clever use of the lances. ;-) Quote
Asuka Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 A fine work, the truck looks very good, especially with the open engine and the neat top. The trailer fits very well too, and your MFs Quote
LegoLyons Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 I like it. Love the trailer and the use of the lances. But, i'm also not to keen on the choice of figures. Sorry. Quote
kaboom4 Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Fantastic! I love the bars on the side of the truck! Quote
Lt. Col. Thok Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Very nice, very post-apocish. *y* *y* Quote
