badbob001 Posted March 28, 2018 Posted March 28, 2018 Is there a website where you can select a range of pages from a set's instruction book and have it generate you a list of parts, preferably easily importable into bricklink? I know bricklink has inventory lists of most sets, but lets say I only want to part out a subset of the set. For a large set, it's rather tedious and error-prone to go through the instructions and audit the needed parts. Quote
Mr Lyo Posted March 29, 2018 Posted March 29, 2018 (edited) my solution is a little complicated but here it is: i try to find the model LDD file here open it with my favorite 3D program (like Lego Digital Designer or STUD.IO) delete what i don't want and save. convert the file into a part list (many ways to do it) upload list to bricklink.. hope it helps Edited March 29, 2018 by Mr Lyo typo Quote
badbob001 Posted March 29, 2018 Author Posted March 29, 2018 That's a great idea! I haven't used LDD in a while and totally forgot about doing my mods in it first. Quote
freshfather Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 Can anyone please explain how to generate a parts list in LDD? I have an LDD file I would like to build and I couldn’t find a function in LDD that generates the parts list... would most appreciate any help. Quote

There are a few ways of doing it, and this topic lists most of them: Quote

zux Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 Rebrickable might have sub-models, which includes part list. Quote
