6961 X1 Patrol Craft remake

Inspired by the creations of others such as Wetwired, Xenologer and Kdog, I decided to try my hand at re-imagining a classic space set using Lego Digital designer. I used a lot of bricks outside the factory palette so unfortunately I can't upload and purchase my creation, but I'm pretty pleased with it.

That's pretty nifty! Though I think it would be a lot more accurate to the original if the engines were above and not beneath the craft. Still, it's a nice craft indeed! *y*

Thanks, you're right! I've since made a second attempt. Note: the 2 diameter radar dishes would be replaced with 3 diameter ones if I built this for real, but those pieces aren't yet available in LDD.

I prefer your first version ( X-D ) .... it just looks a little more smooth and elegant.
