In response to official orders from Captain Jno. Cooke RN:

Spoiler

To Richard Brickford

Dear Sir,

you are hereby appointed Royal surveyor of Quinnsville and required and requested to proceed to the settlement with utmost dispatch, there to assess the state of the settlement after the retirement of Sir Smaugton. You are to report on the current status of the settlement, suggest plans for development and notify the colonial governor in King's Harbour of any short-comings. In terms of the defensive status of Quinnsville, you are to confer with the military attaché sent to aid you.

In service to her Majesty,

Captain Jno. Cooke, RN

Colonial Governor, Southern Isles

To Captain Nathaniel Bickford,

You are hereby ordered to proceed to Quinnsville at once, there to act as military attaché to the Royal surveyor, advising him in all matters military. You are to report on the defenses and troops once your assessment is complete, and suggest plans for future defenses of the settlement.

In service to her Majesty,

Captain Jno. Cooke, RN

Colonial Governor, Southern Isles

Following the delightful festivities at the Grand Ball of King's Harbour, Colonial Governor Captain Cooke, was impressed with the gumption of Richard Brickford and decided to appoint him the Royal Surveyor of Quinnsville. To accompany and assist him, Captain Nathaniel Brickford was also dispatched as a military attaché to the settlement, to assess the state of the settlements defenses.

After enjoying themselves at the wonderful celebration so graciously hosted by the Governor of the Southern Isles, Captain Brickford and his father, Richard, set out immediately for Quinnsville to fulfill their new orders. The docks of King's Harbour were bustling with activity, with so many people having arrived by ship to attend the Ball, so the Brickford's, decided that it would be a smart decision to experience the newly completed Cocovia Wagon Way that they had heard so much about.

They hired a wagon to take them all the way across Cocovia to Quinnsville. They experienced quite a pleasant ride on the freshly laid tracks, with beautiful views of the flora and fauna of the island.

After their journey, they were ready and poised to survey the settlement and landscape and report their findings to back to Captain Cooke. But that would start on another day, the first order of business was to find a residence to live in while in Quinnsville!

Thanks to @Bregir for the new appointment of Royal Surveyor of Quinnsville! This isn't a super large build, but I figured it would get the job done for showing my characters arriving in their new home of Quinnsville. C&C are welcome and appreciated and thanks for looking! More builds to come in the near future!

I think the station and coach design are good, but imho there could've been some more greenery around the station, or a baseplate with some weeds or ballast under the tracks.

Good luck at the new appointment.

Thank you! Yes, that would have definitely added to the build... sometimes I forget the obvious... thanks for the suggestion!

Congratz to the appointment! Neat build by the way, and I second Bart, more greenery would be better.

Thank you! Yes, I completely agree, more greenery would be better...

Nice looking carriage and station. It would be nice to see some detail shots, particularly of the carriage.

As the others, I would suggest some environment around the station to look it more like part of the city.

Thank you! Yeah, some greenery would have been nice. Sometimes I forget the obvious when I build...

There will be more pictures to come then!

Nice build BB. The carriage is the spotlight however. I might have to try building it in real bricks!

Thank you Mesabi! I can give you the LDD file if you want it!
