jorgeopesi Posted June 19, 2018 Author Posted June 19, 2018 More work done I was able to put the V12 engine now I have to know where to put the battery and the steering motor, there are 2 options but I think I will chose the motor inside the cab and the battery in the back. Quote
1gor Posted June 19, 2018 Posted June 19, 2018 My friendly advice is to put it where whole model will have better weight distribution...I know from my moc how pain in the #*!?! it is... Quote
jorgeopesi Posted June 21, 2018 Author Posted June 21, 2018 Close to be finished, cab, details, tubes and reinforce the arm, I do not know if to lower one stud the hood... Quote
1gor Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 It looks good, but to see if hood is correct height, you need to build cab or to supply blueprint in particular scale that you choose for your moc Quote
jorgeopesi Posted July 1, 2018 Author Posted July 1, 2018 2 wheel loaders at first page it is rare . Three modules separable by axles, back part with autovalves, central part with steering and drive and front part with the arm with one segment of tubes on each one so that it is not a nightmare to change something. I reinforced the autovalve to improve its efficiency and I still have to do the most difficult part for me the cabin... I try to use the fewest possible pieces and many have more than one function, I think I will be below 1000 pieces that is not bad for its size. I have to put it now because Spain is going to play and I have to drink a little to calm down, Spain playing is the only thing that stresses me in the world... Pneumatic wheel loader test 2 Quote
jorgeopesi Posted July 2, 2018 Author Posted July 2, 2018 I think I miss 2 posts but I guess they were off-topic. Somedays you see a good idea and you are able to build what you need very fast so thank you to Thirdwigg for his idea of the links in the cabin. With doors, strong enough and removing two axles you can take it. Quote
1gor Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 Posts ended here (thank you @Jim ) So far Cab looks s bit unfinnished but shape is good ? Quote
AFOLegofan66 Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 this is a really nice MOC...like the shape and function. Very accurate and yet simple. Wouldn't mind building this one myself!! Quote
jorgeopesi Posted July 6, 2018 Author Posted July 6, 2018 This is what I call a lucky dramatic error. I had almost everything done and tested but I dicovered something... a geometric error in the structure of the front part, I built a 8x8 studs triangle... . I had to began again... the structure, the arm and the movement... but I was lucky, searching for a decent arm I found the father of the sturdy arms so a happy error. Quote
1gor Posted July 6, 2018 Posted July 6, 2018 Now imagine how cool it would be to have yellow frames and dogbones Reinforcements look good Quote
jorgeopesi Posted July 25, 2018 Author Posted July 25, 2018 I did some things evetything is even more modular and I built the autovalves in this position because is how they work better, tested believe me. I start to make instructions I hope I will finish them before finish the pair of details of the machine. My children have played with it even without me close so the MOC is strong and it works. I know the other cabin was better but I preffer simplicity and less pieces this one still can be improbed anyway. Quote
Corrado Posted August 4, 2018 Posted August 4, 2018 Looks great, but i think the cabin should be bigger. Quote

You are right, I am not be able to finish it because I don´t like the cabin and the back, when all the hard work is already done the aesthetic brake me again... Quote

And you will be sure of the fuctions, proportional travel, playable and tested, but these features can not be watched on the pics so they don´t exist. I like when I solve a problem and get into another. I needed a small cabin so I make bigger the machine increasing its scale, now it will be a caterpillar 993 or 994, they are almost the same proportional but they have two cylinders for the bucket, done and in top of all I will gain more rigidity thanks to the highest pivot of these machines. 1gor Posted August 5, 2018 Posted August 5, 2018 Looking forward for update...so far it looks interesting Quote
jorgeopesi Posted August 12, 2018 Author Posted August 12, 2018 More update... It is stronger and easy to build, the wires won´t be a problem and the tubes are just the necessaries... and it works . Pneumatic wheel loader test 3 Quote
jorgeopesi Posted December 6, 2018 Author Posted December 6, 2018 It is the same but with the wires in a way I like... I lost a lot of time but something did not let me continue until I found a simple way to put them. My son has played a long time and without breaking it so almost complete mission, It is simple to build, hard and doesn´t have many pieces for its size. Pneumatic wheel loader test 4 Quote
jorgeopesi Posted December 9, 2018 Author Posted December 9, 2018 More work it is almost finished... I really like it even being mine . Quote
technicfan Posted December 10, 2018 Posted December 10, 2018 (edited) Awesome, please do a 994K and instructions, I need a big mining loader to go with my dump truck of yours. Edited December 10, 2018 by technicfan Quote
1gor Posted December 10, 2018 Posted December 10, 2018 I like the way you enforced axles, but I do not like engine made from axles... I know the feeling when functionality is done and visual side of moc is causing headache Quote
