Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted March 6, 2008 Eurobricks Emperor Posted March 6, 2008 Seen on Brothers Brick, a Flickr find out of the gallery of Squinty Eyes. Isn't this beautiful *wub* The entire gallery on Flickr. Quote
Lord Of Pies Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 Wow that would look perfect in a Post apoc scene! *wub* X-D What a wonderful use of the crappy new motorcycle mode, I really like the non-studded approach and the colour scheme is great too! *y* Great find! Quote
Freddie Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 (edited) It sure looks like an old Daihatsu Midget. I first thought that someone had made the newer, four-wheeled truck, but hey, this is even better. He does state that it's based on Hitahita's design, though. And I think I prefer Hitahita's all-white design. Edit: And he even made a "fire engine"! Edited March 6, 2008 by Freddie Quote
Batbrick Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 Thats a very ingenious design, I personally like that motorcycle mold but it works great as the front of this. The non-studded look is great too, the whole thing is very clever and cute! *wub* To the Bricksignal! >:-) Quote
Lt. Col. Thok Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 Awwwwwwww! *wub* I like it! I must make one. Quote
Dragonator Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 That is wonderful! *wub* The colour scheme is great, I like how it isn't just one colour. Nice to have included the new crate pieces too. I am guessing the driver has to stand up like he would on the motorcycles? X-D A great little model, thanks for the find Bonaparte. *y* Quote
Brickadier General Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 Nice find. I love these strange looking Japanese cars, but I don't think I'd want one with three wheels. I always remember seeing one on Mr. Bean, and every time he drove by it he ended up tipping it over. X-D Quote
Ras 74 Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 *wub* Really cute *wub* Just perfect in those colours. -Ras- Quote
Squinty Eyes Posted March 18, 2008 Posted March 18, 2008 (edited) Hey, that happens to be mine. :-) And I'm new to Eurobricks, nice to meet you all! The original design is from a Japanese builder I believe. I was blown away when I first saw it long time ago at Dunechaser's backlog (or was it PanPacific?), which is now BB. The design is pretty simple, but elegant. Would be fun to see more colors and variations. I already have one planned, just waiting for my bricklink order to arrive. btw, I have more town MOCs. Might as well link them here. An ice-cream vendor paddling around the neighbourhood, ringing his bell. Rickshaw, old-fashioned Gas delivery man Edited March 18, 2008 by Squinty Eyes Quote

I like the frontlights and of course the colour. Hey, that happens to be mine. :-) And I'm new to Eurobricks, nice to meet you all! Welcome Squinty Eyes. Hope you´ll have a nice time here!
