Why do LEGO toys have value to you?

They have value in the sense of nostalgia, for one. I also feel relaxed when building Legos.

What makes LEGO brand construction toys worth your money?

They give me a chance to think about something other than work, school, family problems, etc. They have a much better quality to them than other building toys.

In what way has the LEGO brand let you down?

Well, mostly in the sense that I no longer get that nostalgic, magical feeling when building new Legos. This is probably due to the <insert that tiresome argument>, massive pieces, lack of minifigures...the lack of creativity. They have been using movies and sports as the base of their products. I can go see Star Wars right now in my living room and I have a way of seeing basketball games. Why do I need to act it out in Lego form? The disappearance of Pirates in 1997 and addition of the disgusting 4+ Pirates was another huge let down. Also, the addition of Bionicle and/or Technic parts in the System line is a BIG mistake. Minifigure packs are no more, and were great army builders.

Recently, how has the LEGO brand improved?

I suppose the fact that they are attempting to listen to the consumers. The occasional Legend set or the release of the Sandcrawler and other such sets show this. Their communication with fans is certainly improving. The Vikings are a big step up, in a way. The line foreshadows a potential return to lines relating to history and fantasy. This can add to imagination.

What would you like to see LEGO (re)introduce in the next three years?

In particular, Lego needs to reintroduce Pirates in the proper manner. No, this is not due to my love of Pirates. TLC once stated how Pirates were their most successful line. Then they stopped dead after 1997. Big mistake. They should either pick up where they left off with the Spanish Armada as enemies of the Pirates, or create a new, just-as-appealing line of Pirates. Next, Classic Castle should be re-introduced. Modularity should be a factor in the next three years and forever. I want to connect my castles with my armor shops and such. Perhaps TLC could re-release many older sets that are now quite unattainable. Such as 6040, 6041, 6276, 6270, etc. I would also like to see a return of sets that follow medeival life. You used to be able to get such sets as armor shops, blacksmith shops, peasantswith pitchforks and forestmen smuggling gold through the forest under stacks of hay. Now, all you get is war-time castle sets. You'll get a castle, a hideout, and a siege tower. How fun. How exciting. How...repetitive. Classic space also deserves to make a return. Please bring back minifigure packs.

What does LEGO need to do to sell more products for less cost to them?

Less <insert that tiresome argument> pieces. Period. Only use simple pieces that can go anywhere instead of those massive rock pieces or castle walls that cannot be used elsewhere. You don't need so many different shades of each color. I don't need forest green, lime green, and granny smith apple green all as bricks. Nobody does. You also don't need so many different faces. A standard face is fine with some variations. A good example is the first year of Pirates (1989). You had all soldiers with the same faces, the colonel with a new bearded face, and Gov. Broadside with a face unique to that character. For the Pirates, the captain had a unique face, as did one or two of his Pirates. The rest of his scurvy dogs had the same grizzly, mustached face. Every character you create doesn't have to have three faces; one for when he's happy, one for sad, and one for when he's steaming angry. Also, get rid of the new flesh toned figures. Please! This isn't my Lego. I don't even know you when your people are flesh-toned, unlike the characteristic yellow of Lego people.

What reason(s) do you have for not buying new LEGO sets?

It's simply, really. Flesh-toned people. <insert that tiresome argument>, useless-in-other-sets bricks. Star Wars and Harry Potter have their very own movies and action figure lines. Why do we need Legos for them? I've no use for sets without creativity that are based solely on a scene from a movie. I walked into a KB Toys last week and they had sets as far back as 2002 on clearance. I had a few spare dollars and picked up a Star Wars Final Duel 2 set and Orient Expedition Yeti's Hideout for about $9.00 total. Now I know why they were on clearance. I am not satisfied at all with these two sets, and suspect most new sets to have the same feeling. It wasn't worth my Alexander Hamilton, if you catch my drift. Also, the obvious mistake of adding Bionicle parts to system sets? I look away and say, "Why, Lego? Why?"

What would it take for you to spend more money on new LEGO products versus buying sets/parts on the second hand markets? I try not to buy separate parts, although a spare piece department at your Shop@Home department would be nice. Basically, lower the prices, produce better sets, make them more available.

What will it take for LEGO to remain the best construction toy for all ages and be a profitable company? Keep up the good feeling of buying, building, and owning a Lego set. This hasn't been the case for new sets. Instead of buying that expensive yet unsatisfying Orient Expediton Dragon Fortress, I've bought a brand new Eldorado Fortress. And cost me quite a pretty penny, it did. But was it worth it? Yes. Would it have been worth it if I'd went with the Dragon Fortress? Never. Go back to your roots, TLC. Bring back, simple, basic elements in a set. Restore the Classic Castle, Space, and Pirates. Introduce more historical lines, such as Ancient Civilizations (Greece, Rome, China, etc.) Expand on Vikings, make them pillage towns. Abolish Technic/Bionicle pieces in system sets.

What are your home country, first name and age?

USA, Pat, 16

Is there anything you would like to say with this last question that you feel someone at LEGO should not go without reading?

Imagination should be easily attainable in a Lego set. A set should be built using simple, but quite usable pieces. Expand on Vikings sans the Bionicle beasts. Expand on city with more places to go. Use variety in city. How about a new pizzeria? A school? A mall? Better Police sets? Return to medeival life with peasants, forestmen, and a castle to boot. Revive Pirates. That is all.

Why do LEGO toys have value to you?

Lego actually is a hobby for my father and when I was small, we always spent times together creating the Lego city, with vehicles, shops, streets, mini figures, etc. Recently I

Posted

Will be finished over time.

Why do LEGO toys have value to you?

LEGO is of value to me because they never get old and hardly ever break. While they can get lost that isn't because of the manufacturing. LEGO toys are also long lasting and some day i'll be able to give them to younger family, if I don't want them still, and they will be fine.

What makes LEGO brand construction toys worth your money?

The sets are unique and all different. Also as said before they are durable and are fun to use and build with. LEGO may not always be cheaper in price but in value they are higher.

In what way has the LEGO brand let you down?

The Bionicle line in recent years has just kept being clone sets and always just re-making characters in new sets selling them for less. I know that for the 2006 year of Bionicle this is being addressed and that makes me happy. I also don't like some of the sets having larger pieces. It takes the fun out of building them. Also changing from the classic yellow skin tone of minifigures to peachy skin. This just doesn't seem LEGO and seems more like Mega Blocks which I detest.

Recently, how has the LEGO brand improved?

As said before they are addressing issues such as the clone sets of Bionicle and re-introducing the Pirate and Castle themes.

What would you like to see LEGO (re)introduce in the next three years?

Classic space style. Robin hood type series. Yellow coloured minifigs. The peach skin be gone and replaced by yellow skin. Maybe offering the minifigures that were in the peach color avalible in yellow from S@H for a small price? Or just S&H.

What does LEGO need to do to sell more products for less cost to them?

Reduce the number of single purpose bricks unless they can be incorperated into mroe then one line. Reduce hte amount of colors. Primary, secondary, white, gray(s), black, and brown should be enough. Maybe another few colors for special uses such as the maroon for Star Wars and tan for castle. You also need to reduce the abundance of Brick molds. Stick to standard bricks and just have more instructions/pieces.

What reason(s) do you have for not buying new LEGO sets?

Price has become higher with piece count becoming lower. Flesh coloured minifigures. Different colors/darker shades, which don't go with any of the older sets. For Bionicle this was fine, I actually have begune to like the change now, but for every other line it wasn't a good idea. Just for ones that it fits better with.

What would it take for you to spend more money on new LEGO products versus buying sets/parts on the second hand markets?

After a while put things on sale, whether for just a week or a month, it seems that it takes forever for LEGO to lower prices on S@H but on EBay and BrickLink you can get new unopened sets for less somtimes or at least current sets cheaper.

Also stop the junorization of so many lines. I think it's fine to have done that for Pirates and the Castle junior theme but don't do it for Bionicle as you have been. The parts have gotten bigger and bigger and it's costing LEGO more money. Also stop changing the colors because they just don't look good when making our own creations anymore if thye are mixed. The flesh tones are also a reason I don't buy as many new LEGO sets. They also don't go with the older minfigues and while it's fine if you're going to do that for a line when it starts not in the middle like you did for so many of them, especially Star Wars.

What will it take for LEGO to remain the best construction toy for all ages and be a profitable company?

Help yourself and stop making so many new molds, and colors. With so many it's hard to build things effectivly that look good. And for LEGO it's got to be costing more money then before. Stop the flesh tone minifigures. The yellow was a sign of LEGO. All the copycats of LEGO use flesh color and now with lego like that it's making it all almsot the same.

What are your home country, first name and age?

USA, Matt, Undisclosed.

Is there anything you would like to say with this last question that you feel someone at LEGO should not go without reading?

I can't stress it enough. Flesh tones just arn't LEGO for me and for most other LEGO fans. The colors and new molds that serve only a few purposes are costing LEGO money. They just have to be! If LEGO were to switch back to using more simpler bricks and making fewer specialized bricks they'd save money. And making more colors means more money too. That's just going to end LEGO if it keeps up. I hope it doesn't but if it keeps up that way it will. Please consider what us fans have said here and what you guys think is best for the company. Long live LEGO.

NOTE - Some of these answers have been copied off other people comments. This is only because I would not have said it better myself.

Why do LEGO toys have value to you?

Because they can be used and re-used from your childhood to adulthood, and you never get sick of them.

What makes LEGO brand construction toys worth your money?

I mainly buy LEGO sets because of the minifigs that come with it, because I can't find a set with any good bricks in it nowadays.

Longevity of pieces - If kept in the appropriate conditions LEGO can last for decades.

In what way has the LEGO brand let you down?

By not having a good castle theme! We want good-coloured peices, helmets and weapons. We don't want "Jellybean" knights, with green, blue and rediculous colours.

The 2004 Jack Stone sized 4+ Pirate theme!

* Most of these sets seem like an assortment of oversized pieces with a few traditional pirate elements added so they can be labelled Pirate set.

* Making the sets FAR worse is the inclusion of the oversized Jackstone scale figures. They change the scale of the set (and pieces) in relation to the figure. SYSTEM scale mini-figures may have slightly redeemed the sets.

* The cannons... They look nothing like cannons...

What would you like to see LEGO (re)introduce in the next three years?

A really good castle theme, with a nice army, and a sturdy, well-built castle with lots of good basic bricks. Personally, I prefer a caslte with a flat baseplate, instead of a castle on a raised baseplate that comes with less peices. This is being lazy, LEGO. This castle theme should not have numerous amounts of different coloured knights. Instead, this army will have a correct uniform with armour, preferably a decent coloured breastplate without a design on it.

What does LEGO need to do to sell more products for less cost to them?

Get rid of the newer colours, like blue-grey and dark red etc. I know that this may seem too annoying, because you've made a million new-coloured bricks, but once you have all of those sold and once you start making the old coloured bricks, it will be worth it. More lego fans would want to buy your sets.

What reason(s) do you have for not buying new LEGO sets?

The number of oversized specialised in sets. They seem to be the centrepiece of design rather than part of it. This makes the sets look bulky and limit its potential for alternate designs. Is this why LEGO rarely puts alternate designs on the boxes anymore? They can't create anything decent with them!

The ridiculous amount of colours, especially the more hideous shades. Along the specialised pieces, this limits other designs and sets the pieces can be combined with.

The Price. Compared to almost everywhere else LEGO is much more expensive in Australia and that is taking the exchange rate and postage into account.

What will it take for LEGO to remain the best construction toy for all ages and be a profitable company?

For them to make it appealing for both children and adults.

Why do LEGO toys have value to you?

To me, LEGO is this little nostalgic hobby I allow myself at the end of the day. It allows me to be creative, and on the other hand it is also fun trying to imitate the creations of all those wonderful LEGO freaks I see on the Internet.

What makes LEGO brand construction toys worth your money?

First, everything is reusable! And then, the top quality of the plastic they use! I really trust the quality of the LEGO product. Otherwise, I

Why do LEGO toys have value to you?

-Because of their quality and longevity. And the design element.

What makes LEGO brand construction toys worth your money?

-same quality and design.

In what way has the LEGO brand let you down?

-becoming more like the competeing brands, with more molded pieces and poor design in some lines.

Recently, how has the LEGO brand improved?

-with the obvious line of star wars.

What would you like to see LEGO (re)introduce in the next three years?

-a simplified design. Some old lines, classic space etc, have you seen how much they go for on the second hand market!

What does LEGO need to do to sell more products for less cost to them?

-lower the retail prices, create more repeat buy sets, add more minifigs.

Now you have got people back into lego with the star wars line, rerealse some of the old lines like space, castle, pirates, not like the new lines but exactly like the old set. You will make a mint!

What reason(s) do you have for not buying new LEGO sets?

-high prices, set with no new minifigs or unquite pieces.

What would it take for you to spend more money on new LEGO products versus buying sets/parts on the second hand markets?

-lower prices.

What will it take for LEGO to remain the best construction toy for all ages and be a profitable company?

Why do LEGO toys have value to you?

They are fun to build, look good on display, can be played with, and have a very good level of quality.

What makes LEGO brand construction toys worth your money?

Most arent too expensive for me, they are designed well, and like I said before they hve a very good level of quality

In what way has the LEGO brand let you down?

In my opinion they have skipped over a number of interesting ideas to make sets out of. But then again I am not privy to there future plans, and the availability of som of their older sets.

Recently, how has the LEGO brand improved?

Their OTC line has been top notch, same with the ROTS ones. The Star Destroyer is the pride of my collection.

What would you like to see LEGO (re)introduce in the next three years?

More sets from star wars episodes 1-2

What does LEGO need to do to sell more products for less cost to them?

Stay with very good looking/selling lines such as star wars and vikings

What reason(s) do you have for not buying new LEGO sets?

Not having money, but will buy more as soon as I can :-D

What would it take for you to spend more money on new LEGO products versus buying sets/parts on the second hand markets?

Reproducing older sets(not redesigning, just putting them out for sale again)

What will it take for LEGO to remain the best construction toy for all ages and be a profitable company?

Keep making high quality aestheticly(sp?) pleasing sets such as star wars ones.

Why do LEGO toys have value to you?

Quality. Not only the material itself, but also the designs, the ideas (the designer line comes to mind) and the versatility of every part.

What makes LEGO brand construction toys worth your money?

1) it's "the real thing", and will last me a lifetime.

2) as an addict of the technic line, there's no other brand that comes even close to the functionality and versatility of lego's Technic. Also, going studless has been a welcome addiction to the technic line.

In what way has the LEGO brand let you down?

The creation of massive, single-serving parts, especially when the 4+ line and Jack Stone is concerned. I understand that Lego is trying to market to younger children and therefore "simplifying" sets, but a set made only by a few big pieces really limits creativity.

The grey change. for starters, I'm not actually completely against it, but it was a bit overdone. "updating" the greys so they don't look so dull and old was good, but this was going overboard. A halfway between the new colors now and the old colors we used to have would have been perfect. But please don't change them again, we're just going to have to live with this.

Recently, how has the LEGO brand improved?

Designer sets. Also, those funky little cars children can buy from their pocketmoney and collect em all. You gotta get them hooked early.

What would you like to see LEGO (re)introduce in the next three years?

A supercar in the tradition of 8880 and 8448. The latest Enzo was cool and all, but the lack of suspension and gearbox irked me a bit. Lego supercars used to be the pinnacle of Lego design, full of functionality, but the Enzo (and the formula one Ferrari) seemed to be more about replicating an original car than functionality. On that other note, ditch the whole idea of licensed models if you're losing money on the licensing deal. I think licensed models of actual cars etc. limit set design. In making completely accurate replicas of a real model, designers sometimes can't get functionality or other fun features in. Playability ought to be a first priority.

What does LEGO need to do to sell more products for less cost to them?

Maybe add more miniature (microscale?) sets that kids can buy from their pocket money. Also, the double sets were a good idea. (You know, some sets like the motorbikes and the pods had instructions for models you could make if you buy TWO sets. Instant sale!

What reason(s) do you have for not buying new LEGO sets?

Pricing. Pure and simple. I know Lego means quality and you've heard this time and time again, but I'm still amazed at how much even smaller sets sometimes costs. So, instead, I'll bide my time and wait for the sales.

However, if you folks ever consider lowering your prices by lowering the quality of the bricks, Don't.

What would it take for you to spend more money on new LEGO products versus buying sets/parts on the second hand markets?

I buy secondhand because it's usually cheaper, and (on bricklink), it's EXACTLY the parts I need. I don't really see how Lego would be able to win me back, there.

What will it take for LEGO to remain the best construction toy for all ages and be a profitable company?

Maybe (a BIG maybe here) the older customers who are not AFOLs (parents buying toys for their kids, people buying children Lego for their birthdays) should be made aware again how the Lego brand IS about quality, and that the other items next on the shelf may be 50% cheaper, but also broken tomorrow. Parental units are, oddly enough, still the no. 1 buyers of toys.

What are your home country, first name and age?

The Netherlands, Peer, 21.

You guys rock. Especially you, Jake, for reading this.

Why do LEGO toys have value to you?

As my first toy, they can be used (and re-used) from childhood to adulthood, and you can never get bored of them. They provide me everyday with enjoyment. As a student, quality LEGO products provide much fun in a stressful world of ours.

What makes LEGO brand construction toys worth your money?

As mentioned before, they can be used over and over again. One day the LEGO bricks can be one thing and the next day, it can be a totally different toy. What you can create is only limited by your imagination. Also, as I think about the future, LEGO products brings me a sense of early childhood, a less hectic world in today

SuvieD asked me kindly, so I just had to reply nicely!

Why do LEGO toys have value to you? They offer a great variety in content, and encourage customization and creative thinking to solve problems and stimulate the mind. It's so different to other toys: the first of it's kind. And as a bonus it is very high quality, consistantly!

What makes LEGO brand construction toys worth your money? Quality, play value, MoCability and general fun!

In what way has the LEGO brand let you down? They didn't come to my attention early enough in life! Seriously, I don't have any problems with them. Allround good company!

Recently, how has the LEGO brand improved? It has diversified it's themes, and brought many interesting models and bricks into the market. Prices have dropped slightly, too, which is a step in the right direction!

What would you like to see LEGO (re)introduce in the next three years? I would love to see some space legends, from the older space themes, and I would love to see minifigure Pic-A-Brick at all LEGO brand stores.

What does LEGO need to do to sell more products for less cost to them? Stop making fancy embossed boxes with holograms. As a longtime buyer, I know that boxes do nothing for the set, and are ripped open and discarded as soon as the toy opens. The boxes should be like the ones from the old days, back when the backgrounds were simple, and you didn't have to have fancy packaging either.

Another thing to do is terminate production of things such as clickits, and limit the themes a little. Many themes=Lots of money spent on lots of products=higher cost to cover everything. Limit it to 6-8 a year.

Focus on blocks, and not novelty specialised 'Bionicle voice changer' or 'foam Knights kingdom helmets and weapons.' They're not as attractive as they're not compatible.

What reason(s) do you have for not buying new LEGO sets? Sets that are not compatible with the rest of my collection are not needed, and sets that have very poor price to piece ratios are also not good.

What would it take for you to spend more money on new LEGO products versus buying sets/parts on the second hand markets? Well, cheaper sets would be a start, and a wider selection of bricks to order online. Not that I use sites such as Bricklink much as it is...

What will it take for LEGO to remain the best construction toy for all ages and be a profitable company? It will take for them to continue building great sets, while taking care not to deviate from the core value of 'LEGO Bricks' that makes the brand what it is. Minifigures must also stay as they are, as those are one of the icons of LEGO.

What are your home country, first name and age? I'm from England, my first name is Harry, and I'm 13 years of age until September 8th.

Is there anything you would like to say with this last question that you feel someone at LEGO should not go without reading? Keep it up.

Why do LEGO toys have value to you?

They used to be totally unique in the way they did not cater to fads. The fact that Lego can be built as the instructions describe, or changed into ANYTHING the builder wants proves the total versatility. Lego was not a trend or fad. If a builder was interested in medieval times, they could build knights and castles, if they were interested in pirates, they built schooners and treasure hideouts, if they were interested in towns, they built cars and houses. Lego was for any age. It developed creativity and imagination more than almost anything.

What makes LEGO brand construction toys worth your money?

The build-ability. There is so many things you can build, whether it be the intended model, your own model, or adding to a massive collection. Lego is tough as nails and rarely gets damaged. And you USED to get lots of pieces for an incredibly good price.

In what way has the LEGO brand let you down?

Up until about 7 years ago, Lego had never let me down. There had been never been a year when models and themes were not inspired. Every set had quality. Lego had a few very standard themes that were very basic but this is what made people so creative - Lego didn't say "This Knight is named Sir Adam". It was "This is a Knight". Lego didn't say "This Castle is the Dark Lord Raven's Castle and he HAS to fight Sir Adam and his Super Lion Knights". It was "This is the Dark Knights castle". It was so general that everything had to be imagined by the user. The set designs for all themes were incredible. Looking at them inspired me. I'd go and look at boxes of all the lego and be mesmerized at how amazing the sets were. Lego didn't make NINJA TURTLE lego or hook on to trends.

Lego has let me down in the way now that it has almost every 'big thing' as a theme. This wouldn't be so bad if the sets had quality, but none of them(except Star Wars) do. I miss the TOWN theme. I miss the CASTLE, PIRATE, SPACE, and WILD WEST Theme. I miss having to build a wall out of more than 1 piece. I miss so much about these general themes of lego with amazing quality. Bionacle and Lego should NEVER mix.

Recently, how has the LEGO brand improved?

Shopping Online... some new colors... Harry Potter theme offers alot of cool new pieces that can definently add flavor to Own Creations. Other than that, I am sorry, I cannot find much

What would you like to see LEGO (re)introduce in the next three years?

All of the old themes... with new sets. I understand Lego can and will not bring back all of the old Castle, Pirate, and Town sets, but they should bring back the themes, bring back old designers, bring back more pieces that make it so you actually have to build! Bring back the quality and inspiration. I don't want the Lego story to be told for me. None of this "Knights Kingdom THIS IS HOW TO PLAY! THIS GUY IS GOOD, NOT EVIL, YOU SEE! AND THE CASTLE HAS TO LOOK LIKE THIS!!!!" stuff. Lego never needed 'action' pieces that allowed things to blow up and other 'breaking' things.

What does LEGO need to do to sell more products for less cost to them?

No electronic pieces needed. No stupid marketing and hanging on for dear life to Franchises(and paying royalties) who could care less about lego. (I.E SPIDER MAN).

What reason(s) do you have for not buying new LEGO sets?

Heres a quote: "OH BOY, NEW LEGO POLICE HEADQUARTERS!!! HOW MANY PIECES: Oh... 7..." One piece walls? 1 Piece Roofs? 1 Piece Car Chasis?. This is NOT lego. The themes are not interesting at all, it is almost like buying certain video games now... it is so uninspired. Lego is trying to be super cool or something... it isn't working. What happened to the cool displays in the catalogs you'd recieve with new sets? All of the cars racing around with all the other new sets behind on a paper machee setting. Im not paying $100.00 for 100 pieces. Thats a rip off and lego KNOWS this.

What would it take for you to spend more money on new LEGO products versus buying sets/parts on the second hand markets?

I am willing to pay higher prices for Second Hand parts/sets on Ebay because those sets had QUALITY. If Lego brought back QUALITY SETS AND THEMES, I would be dropping LOTS of money on Lego. If I could go abck to 1993 and go to a ToyStore, Lego's stock would have doubled.... I swear to god.

What will it take for LEGO to remain the best construction toy for all ages and be a profitable company?

Remain the best? I am sorry. But they are on the same level as Mega Blocks and other cheap, disposable trash right now. Sorry. Final Answer.

What are your home country, first name and age?

Canada, Chris, 18

Is there anything you would like to say with this last question that you feel someone at LEGO should not go without reading?

Nothing that everyone else has probably already said. Bring back old sets and themes. Doing this survey has made me increasingly angry. I remember when I used to talk about lego and get increasingly excited.

Why do LEGO toys have value to you?

They are of superb quality, and they have been around for so so long, they are classics, and forever will be. Keeping them on display works great, they look good and are always a good talk when family and friends pop round. It is also the collectibility, and also the magic, for sets like Star Wars, reliving the films in a unique style.

What makes LEGO brand construction toys worth your money?

The fun, and the collectibility. It is also the originality. The sets may cost a lot to some, but to me they are worth every bit, Lego is a classic, and is always of the best quality. It is also of a challenge, it isn't just a toy you buy and leave to gather dust, you build it, so that it becomes a part of you. And it is also the interactivity, which is always a great aspect. There is so much to do.

In what way has the LEGO brand let you down?

Combo sets, which sell many sets together along with something new, such as the new Space Battle set, which contains the Red Jedi Interceptor. They should be sold at the same time as the separates, or should not be sold alongside the separate sets but just one large set in the first place. I also cannot stand pieces such as stickers and string, which was a pain in the Sandcrawler set.

Recently, how has the LEGO brand improved?

The new Star Wars sets, and how many old no longer sold Star Wars sets are being brought back. The new boxing for the Original Trilogy Edition add value for the future, and the accuracy to the films are great. It is good how there are regular batches of new sets to keep fans looking forward to something new. The remakes are perfect, such as the new B-Wing, and care has been put into how it has been redone, it hasn't just been reboxed.

What would you like to see LEGO (re)introduce in the next three years?

I would like some of the historical sets such as Egypt and the ancient Samurai sets. The Adventurers was always a favourite of mine. Egypt was by far the best.

What does LEGO need to do to sell more products for less cost to them?

To always keep the same designs, and not to to continue to invent new pieces for EVERY new wave of sets, for example Bionicle. Every time a new saga begins, all the sets comprise mainly of new pieces, and if you compare the first ever sets to the newest, the pieces are completely different. Also don't do too much with Clikits, which is not at the heart Lego. Keep the traditional brick and the Technic, do not feel the need to stretch too far. Yes new designs are good, but do not go too far.

What reason(s) do you have for not buying new LEGO sets?

The prices, or the fact that it is no longer in shops. I will often go to eBay.co.uk to buy older sets, and also to find a good bargain, but I prefer to get new sets.

What would it take for you to spend more money on new LEGO products versus buying sets/parts on the second hand markets?

The perfect pieces, knowing it is new and fresh, and the box, which is also in good condition. It is great to own a new set, unopened, and one that is yours, and was yours from the beginning. I keep the boxes for the future, and I like the Lego to have always been mine to pass down as a token.

What will it take for LEGO to remain the best construction toy for all ages and be a profitable company?

To continue going strong, keeping those innovative ideas, and to ensure that brands such as Bionicle keep going well. It is the ideas, and the fun, as long as it remains, it will continue to thrive. And also as long as nothing changes too much, it needs to keep the bricks, and the minifigures, for that is the core of Lego.

What are your home country, first name and age?

England, Andy Porter, 14

Is there anything you would like to say with this last question that you feel someone at LEGO should not go without reading?

Continue with the good work, and remember how Lego has always been the bricks, the minifigures. Keep going strong with the ideas and popular brands, and remember, you shall always be the best toy EVER!

Why do LEGO toys have value to you?

I love the fact that you can build anything out of them. I especially like seeing things I recognise (such as Star Wars ships) made out of the bricks, which are of very high quality.

What makes LEGO brand construction toys worth your money?

I mainly buy Star Wars sets, and i spend so much money on them because, as I said above, I love to see my favourite vehicles and characters made out Lego. I also buy other non-SW sets that I really like the look of, such as the Enxo Ferrari.

In what way has the LEGO brand let you down?

I have no problem with most of the things that have let other people down (new greys, light-up lightsabers, flesh tones). The only thing I don't like about Lego are stickers. I think they're only necessary when they cover ore than one piece, and could be printed in most cases.

Recently, how has the LEGO brand improved?

Lego's sets have gotten really good this year. Their designs are very good, and there has started to be an increase in minifigures in sets. Their prices in Europe ae muh lower this year as well, which has been my main complaint about Lego before.

What would you like to see LEGO (re)introduce in the next three years?

I would like a continuation of the Vikings theme, as well as other historical sets such as Greeks and Romans.

What does LEGO need to do to sell more products for less cost to them?

I'm not really sure what could be done. I suppose not making too many new pieces (although specific Star Wars molds would be useful) would help. I have nothing against new molds in general though, such as with the new Vikings and DINO sets. I also think smaller boxes would help.

What reason(s) do you have for not buying new LEGO sets?

The only thing that stops me buying new sets is the price, although as I have mentioned above, this is not much of a problem any more.

What would it take for you to spend more money on new LEGO products versus buying sets/parts on the second hand markets?

Well I don't buy many parts since I'm not much of a MOCer, but I think lower prices (although they are lower this year) would be the only thing that would make me buy more.

What will it take for LEGO to remain the best construction toy for all ages and be a profitable company?

I think if Lego keeps coming up with original ideas and themes, and continues the themes that are doing well it will remain the best construction toy.

What are your home country, first name and age?

England, Sam, 15

Is there anything you would like to say with this last question that you feel someone at LEGO should not go without reading?

Keep making good quality products with good designs.

Why do LEGO toys have value to you? LEGO 'toys' as you put it have value to me because of the creativity you can embrace using the LEGO bricks. They have value to me because they are simple, yet complex, and can be enjoyed by -anyone- of -any- age and of -any- skill level

What makes LEGO brand construction toys worth your money? The pieces, I will not buy a LEGO set unless it has pieces I want/need. Though there is something I'd like to admit about this, the BIONICLE line I buy each set I can get my hands on instead of for pieces. That aside, I use my (parents) money to buy LEGO sets for the pieces for I like to build my own custom creations out of the LEGO bricks I have.

In what way has the LEGO brand let you down? The LEGO brand has let me down because they seem to have stopped selling sets with the "Ball Joints" and as well have started using larger parts in their TECHNIC/BIONICLE lines.

Recently, how has the LEGO brand improved? The LEGO brand has started to use curved pieces in their newer SYSTEM sets. Instead of the classic "Brick" Slopes that were/are in the Blue Buckets.

What would you like to see LEGO (re)introduce in the next three years? I would like LEGO to reintroduce the Ball Joints that were on the original Toa sets. And I would like them to use those pieces more often...more colours too...

What does LEGO need to do to sell more products for less cost to them? I would say use cheaper plastic, but that really isn't necessary. Maybe not produce as many large pieces.

What reason(s) do you have for not buying new LEGO sets? Lack of money. But of course that's all going to change when I get job in September

What would it take for you to spend more money on new LEGO products versus buying sets/parts on the second hand markets? Well if LEGO could release a TECHNIC/BIONICLE Pick-A-Brick in LEGO Stores that would help. And if they would make part bags available in normal stores

What will it take for LEGO to remain the best construction toy for all ages and be a profitable company? Remain as is, LEGO is and always will be the greatest toy company.

What are your home country, first name and age? United States of America, David, 13

Is there anything you would like to say with this last question that you feel someone at LEGO should not go without reading? N/A

Why do LEGO toys have value to you?

-I have always played with them. A thought about using those small bricks to build large, vastly decorated models has always inspired me to play and build LEGO bricks. Bricks give you feeling of control and that small noise inside your head saying "what if I do it THIS way?"

What makes LEGO brand construction toys worth your money?

-Design of the models, versability of bricks and of course, they bring memories.

In what way has the LEGO brand let you down?

- Largely unaccepted color change, which I have only now seen "in action".

-Recent deveploment of bricks (back in the days, you had to think how to make some happen, now there is special brick for that).

-Reducing number of bricks per set amount.

- Bionicle. I have never understood it totally.

Recently, how has the LEGO brand improved?

- What I find best improvement is communication between consumers and company. Deveploment of "Sandcrawler" was truly a perfect way to bring up the chat between the public and the company. Also, some new "innovations" are really usefull (click-hinges).

What would you like to see LEGO (re)introduce in the next three years?

- Bring back the old themes! LEGO doesn't need licences, there is some much better ways to desing new sets! Also, it would be nice to see more techniques that are currently used by AFOLs being used in sets. In my opinion, adding techniques like SNOT in the sets makes them much better. But don't over-use one technique ^^

What does LEGO need to do to sell more products for less cost to them?

-Less specialised bricks (less need to make new molds), less colors

What reason(s) do you have for not buying new LEGO sets?

- Set having too high price.

- Pieces used in the set aren't usefull enough.

What would it take for you to spend more money on new LEGO products versus buying sets/parts on the second hand markets?

- I don't really buy LEGO sets from second hand markets, reason being that I have seen them sold in local markets for seven years. But, I would say design and prize.

What will it take for LEGO to remain the best construction toy for all ages and be a profitable company?

- Bring back the innovation! Let the kids show what you can do with these small bricks.

- Reduce the prize of sets.

What are your home country, first name and age?

Finland, Tuomas Kukkamaa and 18 years old.

Is there anything you would like to say with this last question that you feel someone at LEGO should not go without reading?

- Nothing.

Why do LEGO toys have value to you?

LEGO to me is a great and a simpler way to build some of the Toy design ideas that I keep visualizing in my head. I don't need to use glue, paint or other special parts like some other craft mediums require in order to see those ideas materialize in front of my eyes. Plus I would like to experiment with a lot of engineering designs and tricks, and LEGO is a perfect medium for that. The only major con for me is the high cost of the LEGO products.

What makes LEGO brand construction toys worth your money?

Primarily, the high quality. But as of late, many of the bricks don't seem to have the same quality that I've experienced when I was a kid, they don't hold together like they used to for some reason!

In what way has the LEGO brand let you down?

Same as above, the high price, the lower quality and the some of the variety of the lines and themes... Many of the system sets lack of good quality designs, and suffer from juniorization.

The Technic line lack the studded beams and bricks, and don't appeal to many of us like the older sets that were introduced back in the eighties.

Although I have to admit, some of the newer Technic sets like the big yellow crane is a step in the right direction, and I would love to see the future Technic sets bring back the studded elements in them.

Recently, how has the LEGO brand improved?

I can see the use of the SNOT techniques are getting better in many of the System sets, and the Technic line is way more impressive than one that wa offered in the year before.

And Thank you so much for the "Designer Sets" Line, it's one of the best source for the LEGO elements so far, keep those sets coming, and never discontinue them, please.

What would you like to see LEGO (re)introduce in the next three years?

Get back to the original lines, Space, Pirates, Castles, Trains, Technic and continue to offer new themes like Mecha and other Fantasy ... Plus I would like to see a new line of some kind that fuses the System and Technic lines together.

Also, I would love to see LEGO offers continuous bulk packs, single bricks and special elements. Something that replaces the need to buy from Bricklink or other online outlets.

What does LEGO need to do to sell more products for less cost to them?

Cut on the licenses, and focus on the originality, lower your prices a bit. Try to improve on the quality and knock off the extra cost of stickers, light-up sabers and other fancy useless marketing tricks.

What reason(s) do you have for not buying new LEGO sets?

Read above...

What would it take for you to spend more money on new LEGO products versus buying sets/parts on the second hand markets?

Like I've mentioned above, offer more and permanent bulk and a wide variety of loose parts in useful colors, like grey, dark grey, white and brown.

What will it take for LEGO to remain the best construction toy for all ages and be a profitable company?

It's a hard question to answer, it needs a lot of research, but if you start with the some of ideas mentioned above, I think LEGO will be heading to the right direction IMO.

What are your home country, first name and age?

USA, Joseph, 30+.

Is there anything you would like to say with this last question that you feel someone at LEGO should not go without reading?

Back the to basics like in the eighties (The glory days for LEGO) is the way to go.

Why do LEGO toys have value to you?

Building a model provides hours of enjoyment. I personally like trains and city the best because I can add on to an existing theme as new sets are designed. As an AFOL, I have enjoyed years of collecting sets as a child and now as an adult. I continue to receive satisfaction whenever purchasing a new set.

What makes LEGO brand construction toys worth your money?

Lego sets/bricks have high quality that last for years. New pieces are compatible with existing bricks always allowing one to expand their collection. I compare Lego to another quality brand, Playmobil, in setting the standards for a well-made, quality product.

In what way has the LEGO brand let you down?

1) Color change of train track and grey pieces. 2) Non-standard Lego brick sets (i.e. Bionicle). 3) "<insert that tiresome argument>" models appealing to younger children. 4) Not enough train and city-themes sets for AFOL. 5) Price of some sets (esp. single train cars). 6) Lego seems to continue to market to younger children rather to listen to the great ideas of AFOL. 7) Having to hear information re. new sets through rumor and web sites vs. receiving it from Lego.

Recently, how has the LEGO brand improved?

1) Great new train and city models. 2) New themes like Viking. 3) 2nd waive of Knights' Kingdom sets. 4) Much more product diversity. 5) Seems that lego is starting to take an interest in the opinions of AFOL. 6) Story themes like Orient Adventures and Knights Kingdom.

What would you like to see LEGO (re)introduce in the next three years?

1) More train, train-themed buildings, and accessories (like bridges, mills, windmills, lights, and electronic switches). 2) A new western or western train theme. 3) Civil War and Mexican/Alamo theme. 4) Larger "non-<insert that tiresome argument>" mini-fig scale castles. 5) Figure packs like in the 80s (4-5 figures/box). 6) More historic themes (i.e. Greek and Roman civilizations. 7) Sinbad/other adventure theme. 8) More city buildings. 9) Large tub-sized bulk sets in the same color.

What does LEGO need to do to sell more products for less cost to them?

1) Stay away from license/movie type sets. Lego doesn't need a popular movie to market their products (with the exception of maybe Star Wars). Focus on creative and historic themes that have always made Lego popular. 2) Reduce the number of new colors that aren't necessary. 3) Sell more bulk/tub style sets in the same color with not as many different pieces (like a grey castle wall tub for example). 4) Reduce the number of specialized pieces.

What reason(s) do you have for not buying new LEGO sets?

Generally the price, esp. sets over $100 (or) the set is too "<insert that tiresome argument>".

What would it take for you to spend more money on new LEGO products versus buying sets/parts on the second hand markets?

1) Include more standard bricks in larger quantity in sets. 2) A "pick-a-brick" program/system over the internet (similar to Legoland's "pick-a-brick" store but with larger piece selection).

What will it take for LEGO to remain the best construction toy for all ages and be a profitable company?

1) Listen more to AFOL that spend hundreds-thousands of dollars a year on Lego. 2) Try to focus on quality Lego sets at more reasonable prices (without sacrificing existing quality). 3) Quit trying to market to EVERYONE. Too much product diversity is not good and expensive. Get rid of unsuccessful product lines/themes and look at past successful sets as best practices.

What are your home country, first name and age?

U.S.A, Rob, Over 30.

Is there anything you would like to say with this last question that you feel someone at LEGO should not go without reading?

Listen to AFOL. They've supported Lego for years and also buy sets for their children. They have a grasp on what works and what does not. Design and expand themes that AFOL recommend. And always remain committed to a quality product and the old values that made Lego a trade name. AFOL will support and promote Lego if we see that Lego remains committed to these values; the most important being, "Quit worrying about market share and cost/price. Focus on a quality product that lets children and adults play well. Everything else will come". Thank you for listening.

Why do LEGO toys have value to you?

I've grown up with them, and they have always been there to support my imagination in unique ways. There is something satisfying and soothing about assembling a LEGO set.

What makes LEGO brand construction toys worth your money?

The quality, the pieces that have a high re-usability in other creations, that enable me to create exactly what I want.

In what way has the LEGO brand let you down?

"Juniorization" - dumbing down the sets by having fewer pieces, but this has been alleviated greatly since the late 90s/very early 00's.

Recently, how has the LEGO brand improved?

The aforementioned de-juniorization, the introduction of new pieces that make more sense than others (such as the 1x1 slopes!).

What would you like to see LEGO (re)introduce in the next three years?

I'd like to see the Town theme continue to expand and improve, with more of a residential (homes) or "financial district"(stores, shops, post offices, etc) aim. I would also like to see a new space theme, such as the Classic Space, Futuron, M-tron, but with a new style of design (to appeal to modern day kids). I could help you guys out with that theme ;)

What does LEGO need to do to sell more products for less cost to them?

They need to reorganize their advertisement strategies, give their products a facelift. If it were possible to change the packaging so everyone knows it's LEGO, and that the product inside is simply astounding and awesome (and creates a very solid model, without too many gaps, another thing I forgot to mention!), I think kids would take notice and start buying. It also doesn't hurt to put /more/ detail in! Look at the stuff in the Space sections of Brickshelf and Lugnet - there are amazing things made with just as many parts as in other sets. Adding smaller pieces for greebles should do wonders. Detail is always amazing - it catches the eye, and makes the person take a closer look!

What reason(s) do you have for not buying new LEGO sets?

1) No interest in the subject

2) No interest in the subject at that certain price

3) Parts selection

These are just my own reasons, I'm sure a child's would differ greatly.

What would it take for you to spend more money on new LEGO products versus buying sets/parts on the second hand markets?

I don't buy much on the second-hand markets, although I recently turned 18 and with my own checking account and card... that may change. so, Not Applicable

What will it take for LEGO to remain the best construction toy for all ages and be a profitable company?

More interest from all ages. The word has to be spread....

What are your home country, first name and age?

USA, Alessandro (Alex), 18

Is there anything you would like to say with this last question that you feel someone at LEGO should not go without reading?

The only thing I really want is for LEGO to make it through this tough time. After that, consider adding more detail, I'd give you a big hug. I'd be really, really, happy if you did it even sooner ;)

Why do LEGO toys have value to you?

They used to be the toys of my childhood that I played most with. Besides this nostalgical feeling LEGO sets always were mostly high quality toys, from a technically point of view and from a moral one.

What makes LEGO brand construction toys worth your money?

Nostalgia, best quality construction toy.

In what way has the LEGO brand let you down?

Too high prices, quality of particular parts is lately getting worse than it used to be. Also the introduction of series like Dino Attack or Bionicle that both are only made for the video game kids.

Recently, how has the LEGO brand improved?

Introduction of classical series like the Vikings, but mostly the creator line: They brought back the original spirit of LEGO what it used to be years ago, but in an evolved way: Better parts, better features, better possibilities, but nonetheless in some way "back to the roots" regarding the idea of this line.

What would you like to see LEGO (re)introduce in the next three years?

I'd like to see LEGO going completely "back to the roots": Introduction of a classic space style line like Black-Tron or Ice-Planet. Same goes for castle (and pirates after the viking line ended) with some more "realistic" theme like the black knights...

I also would like to see more adventurers sets, this theme had some great potential and I'm sure many people would like to see them going to atlantis or the orient or where ever!

What does LEGO need to do to sell more products for less cost to them?

Get rid of the licenses (after you did all Star Wars vehicles though :$), stop producing tons of new parts, reduce colors (e.g. orange is cool, but do we really need four shades of it that look almost identical???)

What reason(s) do you have for not buying new LEGO sets?

Money. I would really like to own the new Star Wars sets or the Viking longboat... But I simply can't afford them.

What would it take for you to spend more money on new LEGO products versus buying sets/parts on the second hand markets?

LEGO doesn't offer any useful help for MOC builders, Bricklink does. Even the PaB wall and such things are mostly way too expensive. If LEGO would install a working Bricklink like internet part supply and if this wouldn't be too expensive (lets say not more expensive than Bricklink) I'm sure me and many other AFOLs would like to use this, especially because LEGO would have the chance to offer many many different parts in unbelievable quantities, a service that the Bricklink sellers normally can't. Go this way and I promise to be a good customer! ;)

What will it take for LEGO to remain the best construction toy for all ages and be a profitable company?

Get back to the roots! Care more about your fans!

What are your home country, first name and age?

Germany, Daniel, 21

Is there anything you would like to say with this last question that you feel someone at LEGO should not go without reading?

Please think of your fans a little bit more. We might be a small group in comparrison to all those kids that buy one or two sets, but we are there, most of us are willing to help LEGO where we can (look at brickfest, TSL, or even look at an AFOL standing in front of a LEGO shelf spontaneously advising a kid or parents what to buy and how cool some sets are and so on... *satis* ). LEGO should really think of us a little bit more in the future! (*cough* bley change *cough*)

Why do LEGO toys have value to you?

Lego toys have value to me because of the many possebilities when building, and because of the many kinds of LEGO, wich means that you never get tired of LEGO toys.

What makes LEGO brand construction toys worth your money?

The high quality, the many possebilities, and ofcourse the many hours of fun that i spend with my LEGO.

In what way has the LEGO brand let you down?

The LEGO brand have never really let me down. Only the color change have let me down, but not very much.

Recently, how has the LEGO brand improved?

the LEGO brand have improved in many ways. Especially the viking and star wars series was a great improvement. because of it being a more mature line, without much juniorization.

What would you like to see LEGO (re)introduce in the next three years?

I would like to see more viking sets, maybe some other historical sets too, and some more star wars sets from episode 4-6.

What does LEGO need to do to sell more products for less cost to them?

Use fewer specialized pieces, although the specialized pieces some time make the sets even better looking.

What reason(s) do you have for not buying new LEGO sets?

I dont have the money, or I dont think the set is interesting.

What would it take for you to spend more money on new LEGO products versus buying sets/parts on the second hand markets?

I have never bought any pieces nor sets second hand, so I really dont know.

What will it take for LEGO to remain the best construction toy for all ages and be a profitable company?

Lego will have to keep up the good quality, and never go away from the standard LEGO system bricks.

What are your home country, first name and age?

Denmark, Christian, 15

Is there anything you would like to say with this last question that you feel someone at LEGO should not go without reading?

Keep up the good work!!!

Why do LEGO toys have value to you?

Consistantly for years I have returned to Lego, and they without fail have entertained me, and helped me think and relax no matter what my life is doing. Also Lego, as aposed to other toy brands has amazing playability. If I would buy one action figure, thats all I had to play with. Whereas a Lego set I get two things to use, one set is a game without fail.

What makes LEGO brand construction toys worth your money?

The design and scale of the pieces, and sets have always appealed to me. I started using Lego, when there wasn't such things as megablocks, and that style of block building has never appealed to me. I like how Lego even down to the Minifig can be fully customised.

In what way has the LEGO brand let you down?

I think the piece count has lowered, along with the amount of minifigs available. Also I feel the prices have risen too much. A prime example is the terribly overpriced Factory sets. A great idea, but produced badly. Also the Jack Stone sets replacing Pirates!!

Recently, how has the LEGO brand improved?

The latest range of sets are fantastic, along with the design of minifigs. I also am very fond of the designer sets.

What would you like to see LEGO (re)introduce in the next three years?

Original Pirates, I'm not a fan of the Jack Stone style sets. Minifigs are a time tested favourite.

Lego Space, I'm a huge StarWars fan but I'd love to see a return of Blacktron, M-Tron and Space Police.

Minifig packs. I used to love being able to buy a box of minifigs.

More Minifigs within sets, while not driving the prices up too high. The Viking Longboat in my opinion, had a fair price tag and amount of Minifigs.

Lego Club Discount. If you sign up to a paid Lego Club, you can get discount online at Shop @ Home.

What does LEGO need to do to sell more products for less cost to them?

I think they should produce more smaller and medium sized sets for each range. Its seems now there are too many large expensive sets when something comes out.

What reason(s) do you have for not buying new LEGO sets?

Without a doubt price. Lego is very expensive. Also accessability. Not alot of stores have a good selection. And Shop at Home is too costly.

What would it take for you to spend more money on new LEGO products versus buying sets/parts on the second hand markets?

If Lego offered the range that the Second hand market does, plain and simple. I can go onto Bricklink and order to my needs from Minifigs to instructions. Also the second hand market allows me to purchase older sets.

What will it take for LEGO to remain the best construction toy for all ages and be a profitable company?

The first step is being made here. Listen to your market. But try and remain inexpensive, while also giving us toys with playabilty that is unserpassed.

What are your home country, first name and age?

United Kingdom, Matt, 22

Is there anything you would like to say with this last question that you feel someone at LEGO should not go without reading?

I have been a Lego fan for 20 years, I have stopped buying Lego in the past, but then returned. Remember that it is the Lego Brick/piece that makes lego great. Keep Bionicle and System seperate.

Why do LEGO toys have value to you?

Simply because the possibilities for creating amazing products are basically endless.

What makes LEGO brand construction toys worth your money?

The concept of licensed products like the Star Wars line and once again the above reason.

In what way has the LEGO brand let you down?

Except for the Ultimate Collector Series in the Star Wars line the System/Mini Figure sets are way to much toy like being way too simplified and with stupid play feathures and a inbetween line between those two would be a real nice addition.

Recently, how has the LEGO brand improved?

It hasn't. Star Wars sets have become more toy like being way too simplified and with stupid play feathures.

What would you like to see LEGO (re)introduce in the next three years?

The Star Wars line. A brand new superdetailed and correctly scaled Star Wars System/Mini Figure line.

What does LEGO need to do to sell more products for less cost to them?

Move everything to Asia like everyone else does just to make more profit.

What reason(s) do you have for not buying new LEGO sets?

Because it's twice as expensive in Sweden as it's in the US of A. It's cheaper to import them from the US of A then buying them in stores here in Sweden.

What would it take for you to spend more money on new LEGO products versus buying sets/parts on the second hand markets?

See the above answer.

What will it take for LEGO to remain the best construction toy for all ages and be a profitable company?

Depends on how much profit LEGO wants to make or how greedy the suits are.

What are your home country, first name and age?

Sweden, Lars-Olof, 37 years.

Is there anything you would like to say with this last question that you feel someone at LEGO should not go without reading?

All business need to make a profit to be profitable but the question is where to draw the line for how much profit that's good enough. Sometimes greed put an end to most business because most want more and more and won't settle for less profit.

The LEGO Company really need to expand their market in other directions and much more towards the AFOL community like for example model kit builders and collectors that used to build and collect LEGO when they were a child because that market has a lot of potential instead of focusing just on the children.

They should also listen more to what the KAFOL and AFOL has to say about the product line and what ideas they've got about it, unless they're scared of being sued by someone who wants money for their ideas, because in the very end it's the customers that makes a business.
