It appears there's a new maj.com user.

All they've uploaded so far is this zoo.

It appears to be a WIP cause the subtitle of the folder says "my zoo so far".

Here are some pics:

Here's a close up of the monkey cage.

I really like the blue bucket, banana and basket ball for the monkeys:

This is great! I can't think of what else could be put in a zoo though, other than birds and a polar bear. :-/

How about Elephants? Or a water basin with sharks? Maybe a snake terrarium? Just imagine! ;)

The top of the monkey cage pattern is especially ingenius, good work ther ;-) I am imagining how to do a shark exibit now, but it uses the rare 8x8 trans blue panels. I may need to get my hands on some of these.. ;-)

no but i over heard Hinckley talking to Copmike saying he donated Sinner's bucket to some zoo..... :-P X-D

Hopefully Sinner doesn't mind the monkeys using it. :-D

also dont forget a teddy bear cage X-D

Lego makes MF scale Teddy bears? X-O

I've got a zoo in my town (sadly, no pictures of it online yet), and for a while, I had a homemade zebra in there. I used a black marker to draw stripes on a white horse. It looked kinda silly. I also considered using a Duplo baby giraffe, which is pretty much to scale with a mini-figure, but it just didn't look right.

I really hope Lego does a System-scale Zoo theme someday.

That looks like a promising start of a zoo, nice find!

We had and entertaining discussion about those bears lately, here it is.

Well it seems this "derhpswife" person has expanded her zoo.

There's now a polar bear, some paths, and a bench with more zooists.

That's awesome that you're making a zoo too. *sweet*

How well do the teddy bears fit in with MF's?

well they are ok. they are about the size of a child mf. the worst part is that they have flat feet so it's hard to get them to stand up. i should have pics up tonight and there will two smaller pieces (surprises) and one of the includes a jelly martian ;-)

It has some nice techniques, like the roof of the monkey cage. And I like how they did the alligator cage, with that base plate. At the same time, however, it looks amatuerish and unpolished. Better sidewalks (the tan plates, just don't do it for me), more benches/statues/fountains and more people would help a lot.

It does have some great potential though.
