The End of the Cocovia Wagon was in Kings Harbour, built by the WTC, who had first dibs on unloading their ships.

The WTC Beacon sat docked next to the pier, a boarding ramp attached.

The Crew looked on in confusion.

"How is this more effieicent then just sailing around the island?" Asked the lookout.

"Look at my hat!" Said the first mate

The multi car horse drawn carriage was loaded, and drawn away, off to quinsville

FIN

Thanks for viewing my entry to the railway. It's 48x48, or 2,304 studs. Most of which is water. And a prebuilt ship. So, uh, if it doesn't qualify, I'll understand. C&C appreciated!

Have we seen that ship before? I don't recall a yellow one of yours... but I may have missed it! Looks great anyway!

What are the pieces on top of the crates? Third party?

Anyway, the line has to end somewhere and a dock scene is as good a place as any. Shouldn't be too much of an issue, although some more texture on the ground and rock work would have been nice.

Please do not take the following the wrong way, it is in no way meant offensive. Try to read it with the strong message of "you can do so much better".

Having said that: meh. You say it yourself...

... and I would support your conclusion. The build itself seems to be some grey plates (raised on rocks, okay) with rails on it? I do not want to come across as an megablock, but:

Rules:

  1. Build a part of the wagonway at least 1000 studs in size. For this you are eligible for 1 share.

  2. After we reach 10.000 studs and receive the license fee for all the shares, it will be licensed as a Corrington royal commerce property.

  3. There will be 20 shares, 16 will be on the open market.

  4. Each share will have a license fee of 150 Db and will yield 50 Db per month. The Bank of Corrington will handle the distribution.

  5. You are allowed to sell your right to a share.

  6. Any type of Lego rail (blue, grey, 9V, PF) and brick built rail can be used, but it has to be L standard gauge (5-studs/40 mm nominal centreline gauge).

  7. No steam engines/locomotives, keep this within the Bobs technology level.

  8. Depict the landscape of Cocovia faithfully, that means jungle and plantations.

  9. The builds have to be dioramas with landscaping, rails on a plate are not enough.

  10. This collab is initially open only to Corrington players. It may be opened up for other factions at a later date.

  11. Post your build in an extra thread headed by [COR-CWW] and post a link in this thread.

  12. This challenge ends 27th November 2017. As long as it is the 27th November anywhere in the world you can still enter a submission. Suspended

Apart from the underwhelming MOC I also find the story around it lacking. That is not the Mesabi style I know and love. You have this gem...

Again, I am sorry if this comes across as overly harsh. @Mesabi: I respect you as a person and a builder, and I know you can do way better than this. I think I am just disappointed that you did not.

The Ship is the WTC Beacon, I launched her right before the Nova Malto incident.

Thanks!

No, you're right @Drunknok. Not at all my best work. I'm happy with how the water turned out, but that's just water. I was worried about the deadline, and just wanted to get something out. And you're right. It's basically some tracks on some gray plates. I think I'll make another contribution to the railroad, and really put a lot of effort into that one. Now that the deadline is gone, I can take my time a little more. Thank you for calling me out here.

That's brickforge IMHO

Close! It's a Brickarms Crate. I bought a few from Brickmania at the Mall of America.

Mesabi, rather than building another entry, how about reworking this one now you have the time? The general idea is good, but it could really use some more work. Cranes, a warehouse, loading ramps, or whatever.

Remember that royal properties have to pass court review in terms of both quality, quantity and sufficient effort.

And generally, I wouldn't count a large "unbuilt" area as part of the stud count, as the water in this build.

On a more positive note: I really like the ship. Are there more pictures, and if yes: where?

Certainly! Here's where it was introduced, during Nova Malto. She also fought off pirates in the last TMCRA

I would, but it's at my house, and I'm at university at the moment. I'll be on break by Dec 15th, But I can't touch it till then.

Understood, Bregir. It took me a lot of time to build that water though. And it's quality water....

And I understand, since it really is a whole lot of blank space. Again, I'll work on another entry, and I'll beef this one up when I get home in about three weeks.

Thank you. Especially that thread is an excellent example of what you are able to do in builds and writing. Keep that stuff coming!
