Hi everybody,

many post in the [TC12] information topic during the last few hours - @Milan had to move them to the pub

It seems like some guys are really anxious for the results ...

To make waiting easier have a look at this funny little thing:

It looks like you are in love with it (like in one song - crazy little thing called love) since you put so much effort in this development. Really nice small plsaable package, I really like it

Many thanks for all these nice postings!

And many thanks to @Oliver 79! Your yellow truck was an inspiration:

There will be some pics and an LDD-File - but this will happen next week. Some other hobbies require my attention during the weekend

Verry nice little car :)

Were there no problems at all with the chain links? I am pretty surprised you can power them with a L-motor without problems of falling apart. Also no problems in the rough terrain ... they did not shake off?

And again i am suprised, you did not support the 16t gear on the sides... on the front and rear axle ? The only supports for the rear and front axle are the wheel-hubs?

Hi @TechnicSummse,

many thanks for your posting - you have a good eye for the details

In fact the chains were a little problem. On the first try I lost the chain even at an indoor test. The trick is to keep the chain tensioned. Therefore I used pulleys - you can see them in the video at 00:15. A rubber band pushes the pulleys to the chain.

The 16t gears indeed work well without support. A 4L axle is sticked into the cardan balls with 1,5 studs on each side. This is enough to prevent local bending.

I am currently away from my Lego. Some pics will follow next week

Very nice, and very cute! - I think that's a perfect combination!

I hear a strange little voice every time I build with Lego: "Make it smaller, make it smaller". I think I suffer from Shrink-O-Mania ...

I think I might suffer from it too, as I'm always trying to make the smallest, most compact MOCs I can... But personally I think that's a good thing to do, as it pushes your creative parts usage.

Although of course, you will eventually end up with some ridiculously small MOCs - I have still got the smallest working safe I ever made, but at only 4x6 studs, I think it might be a bit too small...

That sounds interesting - any pics?

Sure! - if I can find it... I should really make a topic for my safes, as I have a few of them, and plan to make more...

Yes, please! And please let me know when you're done

I saw a video on youtube to this subject which really fascinated me:

Nice little truck you made there!

I'm honored that my yellow truck could give you inspiration. :classic:

Hi @Oliver 79,

your suspension system made it possible to have 2 studs of travel at this scale

As I promised here some fotos (I added some mirrors as you can see) ...

Mini-Truck_Perspektive.jpg

... Cockpit and openable doors ...

... and the link to the LDD-File: https://bricksafe.com/files/Leonard_Goldstein/mini-truck/Mini-Truck_07.lxf

Well, that's it. The next Mini-MOC is in the pipeline
