kbalage Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 (edited) The idea was to use my custom-built Lego Technic 41999 4×4 Crawler and a huge box of Lego Bionicle parts and have some Halloween fun :) There are 3 custom motorized functions on the crawler, the spinning front blades, the alternating side blades and the rear spinning swatter / mallet combination. There are 2 manual spring activated blades in the front as well. Hope you'll enjoy this little video, happy Halloween everyone! :) Edited November 2, 2017 by kbalage Quote
DugaldIC Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 Lmao that was awesome! Very well done on the stop animation and real time crawler carnage Quote
agrof Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 (edited) That was fun video, nice editing with music, and sound effects! Can we expect sneak peek, or maybe full introduction about the Zombie Hunter rig? Edited November 1, 2017 by agrof Quote
kbalage Posted November 1, 2017 Author Posted November 1, 2017 Thanks guys :) @agrof I realized that the animation didn't show much of the crawler, so I'm making another short video of it right now :) Quote
Leonardo da Bricki Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 That is hilarious! Cannot wait to see more of the crawler! Quote
kbalage Posted November 2, 2017 Author Posted November 2, 2017 I managed to find an old classified VHS tape of the Zombie hunter mod so I can show you the details :) Here are some additional pictures: Quote
agrof Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 Wow, that is quite busy design, barely to observe the 41999 below the decoration. For a normal MOC it would be way too much, but Halloween is a different dimension. I like the extra motorized functions! Quote
Leonardo da Bricki Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 Very hard to tell that it is based on 41999, but it looks great! Functions are awesome to see, looks like it drives good as well. Quote
kbalage Posted November 3, 2017 Author Posted November 3, 2017 @agrof it's rather the design language of Mad Max then the one of Pininfarina ;) I still had to be very strict with the Bionicle weapons as I had like 10 times more in the bucket :) Quote
