The only real reason I'm posting this is because when I went looking for pictures of this particular modification to see how it'd look during my own planning stages, I couldn't find any. So hopefully these pics will be of some use to someone else in the future.

Now personally, I really don't mind the blue on LEGO TIEs. But, when the UCS Interceptor was put next to the UCS Advanced x1 prototype, it just didn't look right anymore...so I fired up Bricklink and modified it. Enjoy!
