Batbrick Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 (edited) Hello again, just thought I'd share the two EN vehicles I made two days ago, for y town forces. First up is my new mini APC, which though small is replacing my ugly old boxy one. It is heavily armoured, and even has two hulled "wings" over the treads for grenade and fire protection. It has two large cannons at the nose, which can be rotated, for defense: Exit and entrance for the driver and passengers is via the back, which is also heavily protected: If follows the usual black/white colour scheme of my other Eurobricks Nations forces: As my research department, which is the best weapon I have as of now, furthers development, my vehicles have become more sleek and less studdy: Heres how the back opens up: Rear view, Batbrick Valley is proud of this little machine, which though very small, is very fast and can hold a surprising three troops and driver: The second vehicle is a less war oriented one, a supply truck, a much needed resource: Again it has the black/white colour scheme: This transporter, though fairly simple, is ideal for defence supply, as it is very speedy for such a vehicle, and very sturdy: Its hull is bulletproof, I, mayor of Brickbat Valley, believe in quality over quantity, so though the price of these vehicles prevents us from mass producing on a large scale, we still get our fair share of top notch hardware: It can hold quite a bit of cargo, and special strands of steel can be tightened around larger supplies to hold even more: The back opens up for easy supply retrieval: Taking out the cargo: The two together, part of my growing forces, which I hope will not have to be used, unless I want to X-D Hope you liked, comments and critics welcome! *sweet* Batbrick Away! >:-) Edited May 5, 2008 by imperialshadows Quote
Ricecracker Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 As i promised, here are my thoughts: The APC, I love how you covered the treads for protection and the fact that it can hold 4 figs is just amazing! Also, I like the way you integrate your police forces and EN forces for a better chance of them working together to fight/protect against the enemy rather than fighting against eachother :-| . The Supply Truck, Its great how you opt for quality not quantity, although you may want a bit of both (after all, how would you defend all of Batbrick valley with just one truck ;-) ). I never would have thought to have a bumper on the front and i think it looks great. The smokestack is a great little add on and it looks wonderful! Great Trucks ON!! Quote
zero1312 Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 The APC is a GREAT improve ment over your old one. 8- Quote
LuxorV Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 Neat military vehicles, Batbrick *y* , but... I can't see the mech X-D ;-) I like the big one the most, but that's just because I'm not used to the style of the little APC :-$ . Just one thing about the APC: aren't those passengers a bit too pressed together in there 8-| ? They seem so very much like this: Just kidding X-D KUTGW (I wonder who will post here to explain this again, now *wacko* ). LuxorV Quote
Stauder Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 These look great BB! Why didin't you PM me :-P The truck is very sleek and smooth! Quality over quantity indeed! The APC still seems kindof boxy, and from my POV the side armour looks wierd, but definatly a cool design, how are the "Wings" attached? Stauder *y* Quote

Sorry Stauder, I was going to PM you, but I forgot! :'-( Forgive me! Still, I haven;t made my actual full size APC yet, this is just the mini version, you get first look at that ;-) Glad you like the truck, the APC I love, but I knew it would be a bit of a hit and miss with the crowd due to its strange design. The wings are attached using those 1x2 90 degree swivel clip pieces, the same ones used to open the back of the APC. Thanks again! Batbrick Away! >:-) Quote
iamded Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 Very nice vehicles, Batbrick! I love the sleek little APC, it's really neat!! The supply truck is very cool too, and very useful! *y* *y* ~Peace Quote
