Hi Didumos69, many thanks for this renders! They look much better than the screenshots I made with LDD. I saw all the pictures from your fire ant and they look great, too. The fire ant and the unrollable are my favorites in this contest. Regards Leonard Goldstein Quote
Boulderer Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 Every time I look at this model I first see it as a quad bike, before I get everything in context. Quote

Now I will relax and have a look at the other competitors. By the way: I really like the spirit of this forum. Giving a helping hand although it is a contest pleases me. Great to hear! It's something which pleases me as well. And it's the reason why we have many Technic contests. Even though it is a contest, the main ingredient is to have fun. Quote
Milan Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 Hi @Leonard Goldstein I have edited your entry topic a bit, by embedding your Vimeo video into the post, and removing a link to that video. That way the voters and others can see everything on the same page, without leaving the site. Quote
doug72 Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 Leonard, looks good. re your entry topic, you need embed your video so that an image is can be seen. I,ve had trouble with videos not embedding I found if open the video on my computer and then copy the URL shown in address bar and paste that into entry topic etc. Should then self embed. Doug Quote

Hi Milan and Doug72, many thanks for the hints (and embedding the video)! Dailymotion.com offers a code for embedding, but it didn't work. Next time I use your strategy. mocbuild101 Posted October 23, 2017 Posted October 23, 2017 My final thoughts: + lifting function is very wacky, excellent design with lots of clever constructions (including the special rims). - wheels don't look very good - the rims should have been covered with something... Good luck! Quote

Good luck! Hi mocbould101, I saw that you are commenting every participant of [TC12]. Many thanks for this - must be very time consuming. Of course you are right: my special rims are not the most beautiful ones on the planet. But they have a key function for my MOC and decided not to hide them. Quite the opposite, I made them an eye catcher using the yellow spokes. The mission was to create enough space inside the wheels to put the L-Motors there. I hope we will see more unsymmetrical rims like the Porsche rims in future. The space inside makes it easier to create realistic wheel suspension. That makes sense, I guess when you've put a lot of work into them, you don't want to just cover them up... 12 hours ago, Leonard Goldstein said: I hope we will see more unsymmetrical rims like the Porsche rims in future. Yes, that would be good! 12 hours ago, Leonard Goldstein said: I saw that you are commenting every participant of [TC12]. Many thanks for this - must be very time consuming. Yes, I knew I hadn't commented on some of the entries, and I thought it would be easier just to comment on all of them, rather than trying to find the ones I missed. Quote
