Black Falcons Wagon

Hi all,

this is my first castle MOC (excluding 2 or 3 vigs). I made this wagon for the Black Falcons MFs a friend of mine gave me some time ago.

It had a small background part in my last comic (in the first pics, on the left ;-) ).

It's nothing great, I just built it in 10 minutes to fit those MFs in the story, and to try a couple of techniques I had seen on BS :-$

Simple and effective. The Black Falcons are one of my early favourite factions, so it's nice to see them brought back to life. *y*

Only thing I'd change is to add spears at the back of the wagon in the ladder clips. Positioned properly, I think they would look nice and give it a more naturally finished look. Alternately, I'd try a spear on one side and a lance on the other with a flag/banner. I'm not as sure how that would look.

Wow! This is great LuxorV, I love the use of brown ladders as the sides of the wagon. The Blck Falcons are a great faction, I wish I still had some. I love the shields up the front too. Tiny criticism, I think there should be a small rod to go through the clips at the ladders end at the back of the wagon, but apart from that, perfect my friend *y*

As imperialshadows said it's simple and effective. I also agree with him that perhaps something should be in the rear clips. You've done well to produce something simple and not to give in to the temptations to over complicate the cart. Well done and I look forward to seeing more.

As many of you said, the clips look a bit out of place or naked, since they aren't holding anything. I like the bannered spears idea, but they could be just to loud on such a small wagon. I think a couple of these in brown could work fine :-) .

As for the design, as I staded previously, I took the ladder idea from a creation I saw on BS, so the credit goes to the builder of that one :-$ .

Great idea! And very nicely done. I used to have a large army of Black Falcons, and these would have been perfect for hauling supplies.

That's an amazing Castle MOC, LuxorV!

It combines civil aspects (the wagon) with action aspects (the knights). I only wish that TLG will release something like that!

Very nice. Your cart actually reminds me of an old Lego castle set. It was a cart too and used ladders on the sides too. Can't remember what it was called though.
