SuvieD Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 Recently I have gotten some decent deals on Lego. Target had a copy of this for $24 Kmart had three of these for $13 each When in Germany I got sets sweeper, diver, and raft all for 8 euro. If you are in the states I recommend you look at least at Kmart as they have 40-50% of 10 or so sets right now. Might be worth your time. If you are in the Berlin-Spandau area you might find some decent deals at a toy store near the train station. They had the new 50 Euro house at 34 Euro I believe. I can't recall the name of it though. It is on the second floor of a building. If you leave the station and walk to the right to the next street and then turn right and walk for 100 meters or so you should see it. It also had some other sets half off. If you are close by it might be worth a look. Anyway, I will have to wait until later this month to see if I can find anything else. And remember, if you pay full price, you pay too much! -SuvieD

May we never pay full price again. I'm sure wondering about these sets here... Do you know anything about them? They're all from the mid 90's. How is it they are still available in a store? Was it old stock lost and forgotten about till now? Or have you posted the wrong sets?
SuvieD Posted June 6, 2005 Author Posted June 6, 2005 No, I got them in excellent condition with instructions (no boxes) from a second hand sale at a school. I did notice while in Rothenburg that they had sets from pre 2000 still. Nothing exciting though. The prices were quite high as well. I think small towns would be the best place to find older sets though.
