I had some time to work on the second part of the comic.

Here are the new shots so far:

I would like to hear what you think about it (advice is appreciated), thanks!

EDIT: I reworked some speech bubbles and the background of the first pic.

...I hope my comic is almost as good as yours...

Since there is no way that you suck as bad as I do when it comes to MOCs, I think you'll do great.

I need to use a crutch like photo editors to get along (my scenes are crude, I know - it's a lack of time, parts and inspiration). But it's just fun to fiddle about a little with some favourite parts or sets... :-)

Your project starts with a great idea and strong cast of characters, I'm really looking forward to it.

Thanks for the feedback and have fun! ;-)

You've done it again, another brilliant comic.

Those MOCs you criticize are absolutely perfect for the Star Wars universe. They give it the feeling of being worn and used, just like the original trilogy. It was only in the prequels that Lucas lost that vision and overdid it with CGI. Add your fog/smoke and lighting effects and you get that eerie feeling that Star Wars hasn't had since the swamps of Dagobah or Jabba's Palace. *sweet*

You're doing a great job, I hope to see a lot more of this! *y*

Thank you for that!

Sure, I'll work again on the comic, just as I said, it's fun to do stuff like this. I'm glad, that some people like it.

Thanks for the interest...

looks very good once again, one comment, don't overdo the effects. the smoke is nice, but the shriieeek! is bad, the letters are to clear , they stand to much out of the whole picture, don't do them in 3D. You could also maybe blur the background a litle bid, it would espiacialy help in the first picture. O, one more thing, when you stretch the text bubles, you get faded borders at the sides, just make new ones, you lazy padawan ;)

But I can't wait to see more, you have a good main character and cool sidekicks, and you put a lot ow work in your backgrounds. Maybe you should try to go a step further and play with the size of the pictures, closeup's etc... a litle like this : http://www.gijoe.nl/albums/details.php?image_id=1764 as a kid I really liked these

Thanks for the advice! This really is helping a lot. :-D

I will bear your tips in mind when working on the next part (but it will take a lot more time than the last part, though)...

That's the anoying part, but if you want good comics, you got to put hard work in. You'll see, the more you do it, the better and faster you will get at it (I mean Photoshop).

Well, I redid the background of the first pic (and reworked some of the speech bubbles).

You're right, the blurred background looks far better.

Thanks again!
