Captain Nemo Posted September 4, 2017 Posted September 4, 2017 A bust of Pennywise the Dancing Clown, from the cannot-come-soon-enough 2017 movie, IT This was a very fun build for me. I did start out intending to build the whole figure...but I wanted to finish this before the film release, so this bust is good enough for now. In all it took about ten hours and this thing is for sure going right into my personal collection, labeled under "do not take apart!" Quote
GentlemanJoker Posted September 4, 2017 Posted September 4, 2017 That is truly terrifying! I love how you did the eyes! Quote
deraven Posted September 4, 2017 Posted September 4, 2017 Wow - so nicely done! The eyes are menacing, and I really like the hair! Quote
carebear Posted September 4, 2017 Posted September 4, 2017 Uwhe that's to scary, Love It!!! Great Great Work!!! Greetings Quote
chubbybots2 Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Terrifyingly good!! Captured the look very well! Quote
Legofunbuild Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 impressive! I do like how you did the hair and eyes! Quote
Dick-Trom Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Those veins... Amazing eye for detail! Quote
Pistash Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Very well done ! I love clown and specialy horror clown ;) (I build Violator and billy the puppet from saw... it is'nt realy a clown but near...) Picture is very good, the clown centered on the picture and the boat just Under. You catch the eyes ! Shaping is difficult on this type of MOC and you did it perfectly specially on this scale (not too big !) And keep eyes not squinting. Hair are beautifull too and color choice is perfect (dark orange !) So yes... I like it ! Quote
r5-j2 Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Glad my name`s not "Georgie" Denbrough!!......superb build, but very creepy!!! Quote
8BrickMario Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 That is very very impressive. I can't even begin to fathom how someone would go about constructing that. Very faithful and striking. I feel like some minifig-scale red balloons (using the new balloon element) would be great on the base. Quote
PaddyBricksplitter Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 (edited) One of the best character study type builds I have seen in a long time. The human face is hard to do well. Epic building skills! I love it. Edited September 9, 2017 by PaddyBricksplitter Quote
Zepher Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 Wow absolutely fantastic - really captured the most important features well (for me that tongue sticking out a little and the freaky front teeth are what really sell it!) Quote
Gambitt167 Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 Absolutely love IT. ;-) I'm trying to recreate this bust and I'm using only the above picture. Just above the eyes there is a white Tile (Round 1 x 1 Quarter). How did you manage to attach it? There seems to be only 2/3 of space at the bottom of the white curved slope (2 x 1 x 1 1/3). Also underneath it there is now space because there is the eyesocket. Is there some sort of a brick 2/3 high with a stud on the side? Similair to Plate, Modified 2 x 2 x 2/3 with 2 Studs on Side.
