deskp Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 I have always put my faith in clocktower being the main part of d2c. That way they can redo great hall as d2c years on when the normal set isn't relevant anymore. Ddnt we hear the 600$ price far higher than what we actually get? Quote
harleydavid98 Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 I know this is a discussion forum, so I’ve got something to discuss, the next wave, if each wave has a D2C what if next wave’s is the Hogwarts Express? So much goes on in year 3, I mean Dementors, first appearance of the greatest professor ever (Lupin) imo, and if they include stuff from previous years they could have the trolley witch with plenty of sweets and new printings for the beans and chocolate frog (which are lush irl btw), and if they go from later years they could have a completely blacked out carriage (stickers on windows) for when Harry sneaked into the carriage with Draco in with the instant darkness powder Quote
Whovastron Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 There’s no way the great hall is part of the D2C, atleast there wouldn’t be a bigger version as some have suggested. If it was part of a full Hogwarts D2C, it would have to be smaller than the $100 one Quote

I think this is CMF And the D2C still hogwarts castle. And i think the officialisation is coming very very soon. Very excited! Quote
deskp Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 Will the "amazon unveiling"-thing include the CMF lineup? Quote

Do we have the official release date for the CMF, this might be the first CMF that I might buy the full box for and then give away any duplicates i get or sell them on, whichever is easier Quote

Black Numenorean Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 Happy to see that what i cleamed many times about the fact that whomping willow would have a small part of Hogwarts, is true! Very excited to see the release tomorrow. Because Lego will do it. Quote
harleydavid98 Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 Apparently the instructions for Whomping Willow were leaked and Lupin and Pettigrew were in them, this is from JediJacPenguin on Instagram Quote

LEGODalekbuster523 Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 I wonder how many will buy the Ollivander minifigure to create a fanmade War Doctor one? Quote

Although they’re both played by John Hurt they look vastly different, although I reckon people might do, the torso print could be useful, but for hair I reckon the 12th Doctor’s hair piece would be good for a War Doctor, either that or the 2017/18 Thor hair piece in grey (if they ever made one) Edited May 14, 2018 by harleydavid98 Quote

It would be odd for a CMF figure to have no leg printing There are a some licensed CMFs without leg printing -Alfred in the Batman Movie Series 2 -Red Hood and Barbara Gordon in Batman Movie Series 1 -Most of the Simpsons CMFs didn't have any Quote

That's not the sort of thing I'd imagine lego would skimp on in a cmf. Quote

You don’t reckon this is another Ron/Quirrell situation where a wrong part has been put on the wrong fig, for example them legs on Ollivander from a different figure (a statue or ghost) from a different set or CMF figure Quote

But lets hope if it is indeed a cmf. Quote

LDDproductions Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 What if, The Quiditch Set also has a small castle peice covered up my the flying ford. That way it could connect to the next biggest set Quote
Kim-Kwang-Seok Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 I'm sure now the Whomping Willow includes small castle part, which connects to the great tower of the Great hall setI therefore I see 2 options: - smaller sets combine together, but are separate from big Hogwarts, which would therefore have to include great hall, tower etc. - which means these aspects are sized down or the set is very expensive - the 3 sets connect together: I favour this option, since we could get a decent castle for 300-400 already, while otherwise it would have to be like 500 minimum. However, the latter also would mean, that we'd have to get the 2 most expensive sets as well, as the big D2C. While this option would be logical, on the other hand it's not very typical of Lego. I've never been so curious about a future set!! Quote
