Lt. Col. Thok Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 Title says all. I voted yes. To see my mods and a Batbrick/iamded grudge match, clickhere. (Shameless Plug! X-D ) Quote
Lt. Veers Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 Does "converted into apartment complex for my town"? If so, then yes. Quote
blueandwhite Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 I never bought the 2007 castle. I was too busy gathering Crossbow Attacks :-D . Quote
Doctor Sinister Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 Yes! See: http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eurofo...c=11530&hl=pimp Dr. S. Quote
Lord Of Pies Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 Are you kidding? That thing's EXPENSIVE! I generally don't buy the biggest set in themes, usually only the medium and small sized sets get bought! Quote
Cardinal Brick Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 No not modded mine, though that's really due to a lack of time and bley to mod it with at the moment. Quote
Kliq Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 Nope, it still looks as it does on the box cover. Although I'm not really a modder anymore, anyway. Quote
The Kid Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 Well, although I opted for the third "EXPENSIVE!" option, I'll still be buying it in a week or so X-D Although it is on sale. Anywho, I expect I'll mod it to add an interior of some sort and maybe develop the King's tower. TK Quote
iamded Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 Yes, I have. I made both the towers at the back the same height and added a lil' bridge connecting them. And ladders to reach the taller places. And I integrated the Wizard Impulse set into it. *sweet* ~Peace Quote
Brickmaster Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 Modded, as in taking off all the silly catapults? Then yes :-P Other than that, no. Quote
metalandi Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 Why exactly is there such a catapult-hate in here? I don't really understand that, because i don't think the catapults look bad, and they're working pretty well, too. Quote
Asuka Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 Why exactly is there such a catapult-hate in here? I don't really understand that, because i don't think the catapults look bad, and they're working pretty well, too. Well... some like catapults, and some I guess could just live without them.... 8-| Quote
iamded Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 Hehe, great pic, Asuka! :-D Why exactly is there such a catapult-hate in here? I don't really understand that, because i don't think the catapults look bad, and they're working pretty well, too. I think it's because it seems TLC tries to include catapults in dang near every set. :-P People just get sick of them. :-/ ~Peace Quote
TroyTMoore Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 Bought 2 for parts and figs. I built one as I enjoy building official sets. This is a great set to build. Lots of actual bricks and a very nice model. I have, however, started to dismantle it as I need parts for my current MOC. Quote
hollisbrick Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 Are you kidding? That thing's EXPENSIVE!I generally don't buy the biggest set in themes, usually only the medium and small sized sets get bought! Same here, one, there's no room for them, two way to expensive.. Quote
Inertia Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 I bought three, but only built one 8-| ... I'm using the Bley in my layout. I also made a cool little ballista thing by removing the catapult and adding the crossbow attack cart without wheels to a 6x2 flat frown plate on the turntable thingy. Shooting down Dragons on! :-P X-D Quote
The Kid Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 Got it, most likely putting a moat in. Would a buttload of 1x1 tiles look out of place? Should I use bigger tiles? TK Quote
