AgentRick Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 Basically what the title says. Would you like to live a house or a space station or fort made by lego? I'd personally like to live in either the new Holiday House or the Velux house from 1996 X-D. Where'd you live? Quote
captaintau Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 I'd like to live inside the System-Scale MF or ISD Quote
SirNadroj Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 How about either Eldorado Fortress or Royal Knight's Castle. Mostly the castle! *wub* Quote
maiq the liar Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 1998's Outback Airstrip :'-) 2nd choice: Pepper roni and the potato factory Quote
Corvus Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 Yes! This way I could do my own remodeling. Painting, though... Quote
Lamanda2 Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 I would love to live in a life sized LEGO set.. If I had to pick one? Hmm.. I would Probably go with the mighty 375, that way I could see it in person. :-) Though I think I'd rather live in a MOC. Probably not one of my own, since they aren't that great. But something like JoJo's 'Tower in the Lonely Woods' or John Langrish's castle (Cat has my tongue on the name) would be pretty awesome! "Yes! This way I could do my own remodeling. Painting, though..." Well, if you ever got tired of a wall color, you could always snap up a new one. *y* ~Amanda Quote
Shadows Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 Looking around at all the brick, I think I already live in one... ;-) I will admit to having seen a lot of MOCs that I'd live in, but not so many official sets. LEGO houses tend to be a little drafty around the back. 8-| Quote
Brickadier General Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 I don't care if it's a vehicle and not a building. The Airport Shuttle is so awesome, I'd live in it forever if I could. X-D Quote
Zzz Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 if I can choose an MOC, I would take Patrick Yrizarrys japanese restaurant *wub* official set? Either the new Green Grocer or 4504 (if I can add a bit interior) .... good topic here! cheers! Quote
BlueDog Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 I would like to live in the Republic Gunship. If I get bored of one town,I only need to fly it somewere else. I wonder how much one of them would cost... Quote
Paradosis Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 I wouldn't want to live in one, but I'd sure love to visit a lot of the Pirate and Castle sets from years past. *y* Quote
Lord Of Pies Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 The trouble is quite a few SYSTEM sets have no back walls, so it would get a bit chilly at night! :-D If I had to choose I would probably pick the new Green Grocers, seeing as it has a proper interior, and I love vegetables! X-D Quote
zero1312 Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 Me? In the Death Star, of course: Not my one though. Quote
Piranha Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 (edited) For me, there is only one place, not a WW Saloon or an Ancient ruin...... *wub* :-P Complete with water slide and hottie!! P Edited February 10, 2008 by Piranha Quote
Lt. Veers Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 :'-) I wonder who saw that coming. X-D Anyhoo, I would like to live in this: WITH some back windows of course. Quote
Hewman Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 Definitely the 4501 Cantina, grab a drink, listen to some music, shoot aliens, fun for the whole family. Quote
Buttons Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 Inspired by the recent revival of the member number set number thread I started browsing old threads and came across this and thought it would be nice for some newer members to see it. I would choose the 810 town plan set from 1963 Quote
prateek Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 in the medieval village with all my modern amenities Quote
Svelte Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 I don't know if I'd want to live in a Lego set - I tend to bump into things so within a week my flesh would be shredded by all the sharp plastic corners - but clearly it would have to be something classy and detailed like 10185 Green Grocer At least it has a working fire escape so when the inevitable Lego rescue team was sent out I could make a quick evacuation. It also has food so I wouldn't starve, and a radiator so I could keep warm (which is probably what sets off the inevitable fire!). Quote
Peppermint_M Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 No thanks... My feet would be very tender from treading on studs all day . Plus I'd probably start remodeling it and then get tired/fed up and have a half built house . Quote
Athos Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 The only one I could ever see myself living in is, maybe, this one: http://guide.lugnet.com/set/?q=7905_1&v=z It may be a little cramped, but its the only one that I know, at least system scale, of that has a toilet... And even then, its only a port-a-potty, so its going to get full soon... Steve Quote
SlyOwl Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 Troll Battle Wheel for me! It's just like a caravan, only bigger and with less wheels. Trouble with most sets is that they don't have ladders/stairs/back walls - I guess minifigs have very good insulation and levitation abilities. Quote
Oky Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 Lol. What a weird topic. Kinda reminds me of Peppermint_M's topic about living in a Lego world. Well, I guess I would like to live in the Green Grocer. Also, I definitely wouldn't mind driving a car like this: Quote
