Brickadier General Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 Hey all, The minifigs in the Rebel Scout Speeder set are pretty nice. I especially like they heads and think they can be used in a wide range of military minifig customs. Here's one example I rigged up: They would also look good on soldiers with pith helmets, as well as World War II helmets. Too bad they're fleshies. Next up is my 2nd version of Confederate, American Civil War General, Louis Armistead. My first version was a little ridiculous, what with the smiley face and all. In this version, I used Legofreak's Confederate decal and an Arealight hairpiece. And with the soldiers march alongside Armistead, I used Red Bean beards and Legofreak's decals. I will never use rock raiders torsos by themselves for Confederate soldiers ever again! Here's a video of Armistead in Pickett's charge from the movie, Watching it and seeing pictures on the net, I realize that his hat should be black, not gray. My bad. This was the old version: Quote
Deinonychus Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 Hey, that's great! I never imagined I'd see Lo Armistead as a Minifig :-D Quote

Deinonychus Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 Thanks. I have others like Robert E. Lee, James Longstreet, Joshua Chamberlain, and Ulysses S. Grant (my avatar). I'd love to see those, especially General Lee *y* I did, however, go back and find your 54th Mass Minifigs, some more great work there. It's only a shame that the American Civil War would never hack it as an official LEGO theme Quote

And Lego doesn't need to release a Civil War theme. I can do all the "hacking" myself. ;-) Quote
