Lt. Col. Thok Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 Nice; reminiscint of some of the old WWII propaganda posters I saw in my textbook. Good job! *y* Quote
Lord Of Pies Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 Ha, some of those are very good. Wait...all of those are good! I like the "Tabletown army centuries of strength" one, well edited, but why are they both so grumpy? X-D Quote

Wait...all of those are good!I like the "Tabletown army centuries of strength" one, well edited, but why are they both so grumpy? X-D Not grumpy - serious about the mission ahead of them. :-) Each poster here is loosely based on one from WWII. Dr. S. Quote
Stealth Hunter Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 Nice posters Doctor S.! I think now every minifig wants to join the Tabletown Army. *y* Quote
Batbrick Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 Very nice and admittingly funny Dr.S, I love the use of WW2 posters as inspiration, its very evident and gives it a comedic touch. My favourite one is the "Centuries of Strength" poster, but the tank one is also great. "Crush the Enemy!" indeed.. Batbrick Away! >:-) Quote
Inertia Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 Love the posters, my favorite is the Tank Corps one, although the centuries of strength one does catch my eye as well :-) . Great Work Dr. S! Quote
Doctor Sinister Posted February 10, 2008 Author Posted February 10, 2008 Here are the last ones: That last one is a LEGO-ised version of a poster over at my other website - Sinister Incorporated. You can see it here. Dr. S. Quote
zero1312 Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 Nice, the "Air Power saves the Day" is my favourite. ;-) Quote
Doctor Sinister Posted February 10, 2008 Author Posted February 10, 2008 Interesting that people like the Air Power one - I thought it was the weakest of the bunch. Thanks! Dr. S. Quote
UniqueBuilder Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 These are excellent, Dr. S! :-D I'm not sure which one is my favourite.. I think I'm gonna print some of these! Can you make some in higher resolution? 8-| Quote

Can you make some in higher resolution? 8-| The only one available in any kind of different size is the "Comply" one. The others are all set in stone now I'm afraid, I didn't worry about saving them in any other way to change the resolution or anything, sorry. Dr. S. Quote
Batbrick Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 Great new posters Dr.S, I especially like the "March into the light" one *y* Though I'm getting this weird feeling to comply whenever I see your avatar 8-| .... Batbrick Away! >:-) Quote
zouave Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 Nice posters. Have they had an effect yet? Quote
El Bucanero Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 Now THAT's some shameless self promotion!!! :-D :-D Very well done Dr.S, very well. I can only agree with what's said above, they resemble WWII propaganda posters. Now, I hate to be referring to Hitler, but I once saw a propaganda poster of him, and I think it would look good with your sigfig as well. I can't happen to find it on the net.. ah well. Quote
iamded Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 Interesting that people like the Air Power one - I thought it was the weakest of the bunch. Thanks! Dr. S. Not at all, that's my favourite too! Great job Dr. Sinister! Very cool indeed. *y* ~Peace Quote
