Another Dalek MOC Thread ^^

Hi everybody, I finally managed to build my first Dalek...

well, except for the missing 3 x 2 wedges. :-$

First of all, I want to thank SalvoBrick, since his LDD version of a Dalek,

which can be seen here, inspired me for my own. *y*

Since my prototype is a black Dalek, it is hard to see any details.

Therefore I made a second, more colorful version.

The 2nd version has also a different weapon-arm.

As you can see (side/front/back), the Daleks are not quite in Minifig proportion.

As you can see in this picture, the head can be turned. (I wish, Lego had black turntable tops)

Now, here is something, which I haven

Spinny centre section - yes! *y*

These are very nice Daleks - as you say, a little too tall but it's hard to get them smaller with the pieces available. And yes, once those angled plates are added they'll be even better.

Are you on Flickr? There's a LEGO Dalek group there - you could post one or two of the pictures to the group.

Finally the wings have arrived, so I can give you an update on my Daleks.

As you can see, I now have 2, and a 3/4 Dalek (the grey one is missing his turntables):

Apart from the wings, I have also attached a 1x2 plate at the front, to make it

look a bit more sloped:
