haveadug Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 Hey everyone, I'm a complete newb/noob at this kind of thing so go easy . I'm trying to make a lab shaker by incorporating a Whitworth quick return which changes rotation into linear motion. This video is pretty much what I would like to make (maybe slightly more durable) that would allow a small attachment for a flask but I've no idea of the names of the lego parts I would need and spent about 2 hours searching through tons of parts and driving myself half crazy. If anyone would be able to help me out I'd be so grateful. Thanks Quote

The program is Lego Digital Designer (LDD) , it is an official program to build digitally http://ldd.lego.com Once opened the file , you can click on any part to see it's name and number By clicking Ctrl+B you can export a .xlsx parts list with images (Microsoft Excel Open XML Format Spreadsheet file). I went through the list here: https://shop.lego.com/en-GB/Pick-a-Brick However some of the key pieces were missing when I copied in the name or number. Only 39/47 were available, I tried US in case it was just missing in the UK but sadly was the case for both. Thanks for all the help Quote
