Just wondering, where and what do you do with your MF's? eg do you put them in a bag/tin/box or do you put them on display ect ect

I put most of them in a bag but sometimes I put them where their sets are on display.

Good question, i keep mine in plastic storage containers. The sort most likely used for things like nails, screws etc, they keep the figs safe and as there clear you can view them easily.

Stock figures (as they look in the instructions):

With their appropriate sets or sorted and organized by type on 16x16 baseplates.

Custom figures:

In vignettes or at the back of their 'official' counterparts on baseplates.

Minifig parts are sorted by theme and placed in plastic compartmentalized containers.

My sigfig has his own little 4x4 plate and sits on my tower next to another 4x4 with an old skeleton in a pirate bicorne who is stuck to a ships wheel by a cutlass. *pirate* *skull*

I have a few hundred assorted minifigs just standing over there to my left on a bookcase staring at me. 8-| I wish they'd stop staring. 8-

Most of my minifigs are with the sets, so they are in bags in cardboard boxes. I have a about 200 extra minifigs, and I resently moved them from a big plastic box, to small plastic bags. Now they're nicely sorted and won't get damaged that easily.

Most of my minifigs are placed in my city layout, my Star Wars figs are standing on a shelf next to the smaller vehicles. I also have some minifig parts like torsos, legs and heads sorted in a little plastic container. *y*

Most of my minifigs came with the sets although I have got several knights with weapons that I got from eBay. Apart from those knights, most of my minifigs are on display. Of course, this does not count for sets that I put back in their boxes to keep them dust free. It's problematic to put everything on display when you don't have a room big enough for it. :'-(

On behalf of the MLF (Minifig Liberation Front) - set your Minifigs FREE! Allow them to roam as they will - it's cruel to keep them cooped up in boxes (unless you really really really want to).

Mine are placed all over my room. Not on a baseplate, so they can go wherever they want to go.

Mine live in the Dino Attack tank set box :-D

Its easy because the hole in it allows for me to just put MFs back in easily. Of course many are on display like my castle guys, aquaraiders, city dwellers, batman figs, vikings, interactive apocalypse, and others.

cut open and their body parts sorted >:-)

nah, minifigs I don't need are dismantled and body parts sorted by colour (and non-printed and printed colour). Fleshie parts are seperated from the rest.

My minifig parts have a storage box of their own, with drawers arranged according to what the pieces are.

Assembled minifgs either go on display with the set they came from, a relevant matching set/display or on my desk somehow, for example in a mini-vig.

Oh, and there are a few assembled minifigs in the drawers as I've not yet found a suitable way to display them, but want them kept whole.

Actually their seem to be more normal bricks than figs in that tin! :-/

;-)

There's a lot of things in there! I even see that Jun-Long fig in the box dismembered!

To answer the question, I have various small containers containing figs and a few other containers containing accsesories for them. *y*

Tinifigs? X-D

No sorry, that's awful however you look at it. ;-)

Sorry but thats just plain awful Brainbox, even for you!

I think you should apoligise for that awful, awful pun :-P

I think maybe I should get proper storage for my minifigs now though. A box gets too hard, though I'm seriously thinking of a system thats easy to find certain faces....

Trouble is, I don't think I want to acknowledge it. ;-)

That can get quite annoying, especially if I'm looking for a face I've only got one of (it's usually right at the bottom of the tray). That said though, searching through does sometimes allow me to rediscover heads I'd forgotten about.
