SirNadroj Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 Salutations! First, this is an entry for this contest: http://www.classic-castle.com/forum/viewto...t=12834&start=0 I really shouldn't describe it, because the vigs are supposed to tell a story without words, but I will say a prince goes to rescue his maiden from a vicious moat monster. X-D Thanks! Questions are welcome ~ I'm sure there'll be some. ;-) Quote
Inertia Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 The Monster is a bit like the Kraken, or that's what it reminded me of, 8-| Great work! Quote
Wout Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 Looks very good. The prince is very nice with his old torso. Quote
Brickadier General Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 Very nice, SirNadroj. Your moat monster looks freaky (but that's a good thing). The "fleshy" faces you used were very appropriate for the characters you made, and also, your photography rocks. :-) Quote
Matn Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 Nice story and MOC. I like the things you make. Could you tell me (please) from which set the prince his head is? Quote
Lt. Col. Thok Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 Could you tell me (please) from which set the prince his head is? Its from the Knight Bus set. Nice MOC, Nadroj! At first, I found the story a bit confusing, but after I reread the title (I'm an evil ignorer of titles :-$ ), I decided that it was a good MOC. Mind you, there is a bit too much white for my liking. :-/ ;-) Quote
Matn Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 Its from the Knight Bus set. Indeed, now you say it. *sweet* Thanks. Quote

SirNadroj Posted February 10, 2008 Author Posted February 10, 2008 Thanks for the feedback! The Monster is a bit like the Kraken, or that's what it reminded me of, 8-| I based it off the kraken, or a least the mouth, anyway. ;-) Mind you, there is a bit too much white for my liking. :-/ ;-) Multiple people said that... maybe I need to do some cropping. :-$ Quote
El Bucanero Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 That monster looks vicious indeed, and well made too. Very nicely done vignettes. You really made good use of pieces and Minifigs in these. Although I'm not sure about the one with the LEGO logo printed on his back. The front looks great, but the logo is a bit distracting. Looks good! I should check the other entries. One thing though, in the last vignette, you should press the bricks more tightly, now you have those ugly gaps between the bricks. ;-) Quote

Oh, and the gap is because of the banners. That's how much the bricks would press together because of them. :-P ;-) Quote
