Anto Posted September 3, 2018 Author Posted September 3, 2018 Finished! So I have tried to reproduce the bodywork as close as the real one as I could, and that wasn't so esay. (The most difficult part was the front) For the doors, I used some studful parts, to get the curvy surfaces of the doors. Here, you can see the suspension, in positions up then down: The doors, the hood and the trunk can be opened. However, their motion isn't limited. I have even reached to put the spare wheel under the hood, and I don't tell you how much difficult that was to do. The pneumatic pump is hidden into the trunk; and the pneumatic switch is placed just in front of the glove box. The interior is quite simple, but it is filled by the seats. And this is the chassis, it has a little bit evolved since the last time that I have posted pictures on the thread. That's all, I really enjoyed building a vehicle at a small scale. And I hope you like this MOC! Quote
Aventador2004 Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 Nice recreation! great functions too. Quote
jorgeopesi Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 Looking at the size it is a very functional and beauty MOC, very good job. Quote
1gor Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 Despite small size it is instantly recognizable (as Citroen DS only could be). Really good MOC with respectable number of functions for such small size Quote
WvG_853 Posted September 4, 2018 Posted September 4, 2018 Bravo! The end result is really cool! Indeed instantly recognisable, but with a certain abstractness that I like particularly. It is both a great model to play with (these turning lights! The air suspension!), but also a display model you can be proud of. I would not mind having it on my desk, but I would probably build it in black. For memories sake ... Quote
Anto Posted September 4, 2018 Author Posted September 4, 2018 Thanks! 11 hours ago, WvG_853 said: [...] but I would probably build it in black. For memories sake ... I could built it in white, orange or black, but I chose white because it's a little bit less sad than black ^^ On TechLUG, someone asked me to have more details of the front part. So I have done screenshots on the LDD file: Quote
AFOLegofan66 Posted September 4, 2018 Posted September 4, 2018 Looking forward to the next instalment!! Quote
HorcikDesigns Posted September 4, 2018 Posted September 4, 2018 This is sooo good MOC. (I have to take a deeper look on the photos to find inspiration) Quote
