Lego is not Porsche. Maybe we could see some other Porsche model some year, but not almost the same just in different color. Some mocer could and can do this.

Just one comment to admins (who are reading our comments) - would it be better to include posts of this topic in this one.

From my point of view to recolor model in metallic silver (or as @Jurss correctly pointed out - usage of chromed parts) is more suited to modifications of Porsche 911 GT3 RS model

Nevertheless, Idea to have metallic silver Porsche is very cool.

@I_Igor fully chromed GT3RS Technic parts - it'd cost about £1000.00!   It cost me a lot just for chrome exhausts, metallic gear knob and chrome wing mirror panels...

I know it is not cheap. I was planing to chrome 32004a wheels, but it is to expensive...You can buy 20kg or more LEGO Technic for this amount of pounds. But purple would be very dinamyc and cool at zhe same time...

Maybe a silver version could be created with old panels, 8458 has plenty of them

I think we would not have enough parts and when you compare silver champion set panels with todays, older ones are not that smooth, so we would not be able to make such clean lines for car. Nice suggestion anyway
