Blue Dolphin Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 (edited) They are my personal guards, suitable for quick assault in the sea They can dive into the sea in a while if necessary Because of the light armor, they must hit and run Pike allow them to impale some thin wooden bilges (They may not realistic in the pirates's world, but I hope that you can enjoy them :-$ ) thank for watching~ Edited February 6, 2008 by Blue Dolphin Quote
Opproperaar Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 (edited) That's quite an original creation you have there. I didn't even know there were lego dolphins. *sweet* Looks like the pirates will have to watch out for a new danger on the waves. *y* EDIT: Personal guards huh? I'd like to believe that for sure, cerainly would like such a mercenary force for myself Edited February 6, 2008 by Hairy Ruben Quote
Shadows Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Now there's an attack force I could go for! *wub* Quote
Captain Green Hair Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 That's a pretty cool, mythical looking attack group! *y* Send 'm over, we'll have some fun harr! Quote
Mile85 Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Very original! I haven't seen nothing like that before, good job *y* Quote
El Bucanero Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Wow, that's really cool looking. Very original, it would fit perfectly in any mythical setting. I didn't know there were trans blue dolphins. Did you use any glue to secure the minifigs or do they stick to the fin tight enough? Cool! Quote

I didn't use any glue, the minifigs can stick to the fin tightly if you don't swing them intensely Quote
Athos Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Pretty cool. Though I'm not sure I like the helmets on the women. Steve Quote

Cardinal Brick Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 That's a great idea and very original not seen anything like that before. Can I ask what inspired you to create such a unit? As for the helmets I think that's a personal prefence I like them Quote
ghoulrealm Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 That's a wave of destruction that's easy on the eyes! :-D Quote
Brickmaster Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 That's a wave of destruction that's easy on the eyes! :-D A nice Futurama quote there :-D Very nice idea, I never knew there were trans blue dolphins either. Could easily see this in some mythic era with neptune ruling the sea and whatnot. Good work *sweet* Quote
Captain Ka-Boom Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 So odd. The most "Unique" pirate army. Going to make a ship? The ship could be in a shape of a dolphin. Something like that. Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted February 7, 2008 Governor Posted February 7, 2008 They may not realistic in the pirates's world, but I hope that you can enjoy them :-$ They certainly are quite interesting. What gave you the idea for this? Quote
El Bucanero Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 Blue Dolphin, I was wondering wich face you used for these ladies. EB pirates could use a little more variation in the wenches' heads. Quote
Capn Frank Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 (edited) i'm pretty sure it's Princess Leah from SW. I have 2 figs like that (one yellow, one fleshie) (it's too bad i don't have any dolphins ;-) ) Does any one else think this army would look great in the Army Index. *y* P Edited February 8, 2008 by phred Quote
WhiteFang Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 This is certainly not your usual typical pirates submission or MOC. In fact, Blue Dolphin has make a very unique army. This is the first time, I had ever seen a Dolphin army, going for a quick assault onto its enemies. This is an outstanding imaginative army, that works very well for any fantasy theme, which involved in magic. Somehow, it reminded me of Poseidon and Atlantis. Excellent job! Quote
Antsa Antero Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 That's more that just legos, that's art ! Quote
