ikba Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 Below you can find some pictures of a robot I've built, that I've christened Oddbot. I'm not entirely happy with the final result though, so I'm hoping for some constructive feedback Thanks! Front view back view Angled view Closeup of wrist assembly. -zenn Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 I'm diggin' the Industrial color combo and the way you made the wrist assembly. Though I'm not a fan of his static legs, torso and head. You might want to consider of making him more posable in those area's, add some joints so he can move. I've also looked at some of your other builds btw, have you thought about using your "Dalek's Eye" or that technique with the rubber tires for this build? They would make great beefy arms/legs and a head, just an idea. Quote
Henchmen4Hire Posted June 1, 2017 Posted June 1, 2017 (edited) I like the skeletal frame, I think the round shapes work well together too. Maybe thicken the thighs somehow? The articulation looks good enough, though I think you could work in a swivel plate at the waist, and simple hinge plates at the knees (or modify the wrist joints for the knees, they look cool). If the yellow windscreens ever need more stability, you could probably use the top of a hinge brick to bridge them together. Edited June 1, 2017 by Henchmen4Hire Quote
